| dc.description.abstract | Numerous methods have been applied to | |
| dc.description.abstract | accurately determine the location of a mobile station (MS), of | |
| dc.description.abstract | which, most of them require weather dependent parameters. | |
| dc.description.abstract | An efficient method of positioning and mapping a mobile | |
| dc.description.abstract | station in varying weather conditions, without the use of | |
| dc.description.abstract | Global Positioning System (GPS); operable using the preestablished | |
| dc.description.abstract | infrastructure is proposed. Another advantage of | |
| dc.description.abstract | this system is that, only one base station (BS) is utilized. The | |
| dc.description.abstract | uplink control channel power from a mobile station received | |
| dc.description.abstract | by a base station determines the power to be transmitted to | |
| dc.description.abstract | that user. With the change of weather condition, the power | |
| dc.description.abstract | data also changes. However, the collective power level changes | |
| dc.description.abstract | uniformly; allowing their slopes to remain constant in any case. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Extracting the slope of the plot eludes the system from power | |
| dc.description.abstract | amplitude dependency, henceforth making this system | |
| dc.description.abstract | exclusive to weather change. | |
