Smart EDU

Abstract

"Smart Edu" is a web-based application developed using the Odoo platform, leveraging Python and a PostgreSQL database. The system is designed to manage the daily operations of educational institutions efficiently. The development process follows the Agile Model, an iterative and incremental approach that allows for continuous improvement and adaptability throughout the project lifecycle. The primary objective of Smart Edu is to provide a comprehensive solution that benefits both school authorities and students by streamlining administrative tasks, saving time, and reducing costs. This system is equipped to handle various school-related processes, including academic year management, division setup, media creation (e.g., language mediums like Bangla or English), teacher and student management, class and subject organization, fee structuring, and exam grading. Smart Edu's design focuses on reducing staff workload, improving data security, and enhancing the overall productivity and cost-effectiveness of educational institutions. The centralized database and application are accessible from any location with an internet connection, ensuring that schools can manage their operations without the need for expensive hardware or software. The system's platform independence allows it to be easily accessed from any internet-connected device, making it a versatile solution for schools of varying sizes and needs. Smart Edu is also customizable to meet the specific requirements of each institution, ensuring that it provides tailored support for unique operational demands.
