An Undergraduate Internship on Web Application Development of “Young Bird”

Abstract

As part of my internship with Nascenia, I produced this report. I was a developer for Nascenia as an intern. But I was also included in other aspects of the project that I worked on as an intern for experience and educational purposes. My internship involved working on an travel agency project. My supervisor gave me advice throughout the entire project and the internship. I have included every project-related material that was created in this report. As I work on this project, I learn a lot of new things. I gained knowledge on how to successfully plan and finish a system from beginning to end while working on the development team. Learning how to construct a good system with Ruby serving as the back-skeleton ends were also included in the experience. It was incredibly satisfying to finally put what I had learned during my undergraduate classes into practice. However, I had to learn a few fundamentals first, which I believe was the most crucial aspect of this internship. I learned how to interact with coworkers at work and how to function as a team. But for my future, it was important to understand the office, corporate culture, and professional etiquette. Finally, because I had to contact and stay in touch with clients and other things while working on this project, I gained real-world experience. Overall, I learned a lot from my internship, which will undoubtedly be very beneficial for my future.
