Optimal electricity generation mix profile is one
dc.description.abstractof the influential elements need to be considered for the
dc.description.abstracteconomic growth of a country. This paper represents a survey
dc.description.abstractof generation mix data in Bangladesh, Australia, and the USA.
Overall power generation scenarios among these countries with
dc.description.abstractdifferent representative economic scale are critically reviewed.
These countries follow a different kind of generation mix trend
dc.description.abstractto meet their present and future demand. The study found
dc.description.abstractsome challenging factors and various obstacles in electricity
dc.description.abstractgeneration to meet demand. The decreasing use of fossil fuel
dc.description.abstractresources, environmental constrict, and the high cost of
dc.description.abstractelectricity production – a few dominant factors. Though
dc.description.abstractdeveloped countries like Australia and the USA are
dc.description.abstractemphasizing renewable energy over fossil fuel-based resources
dc.description.abstractand they are producing a big amount of electricity from
dc.description.abstractrenewable resources. However, renewable raises uncertainty in
dc.description.abstractthe system operation in proportion to the level of penetration.
In fact, fossil fuel resources are depleting day by the day hence
dc.description.abstractrenewable energy will lead future electricity sector.
Nevertheless, developing countries like Bangladesh is not
dc.description.abstractproducing electricity from renewable resources that much
dc.description.abstractcompared to developed countries. One common aspect found
dc.description.abstractthat the dependency on the gas-based power plant and
dc.description.abstractrenewable energy is increasingly rising. This study shows how
dc.description.abstracta developing country and developed countries handling their
dc.description.abstractelectricity generation and price sector using various fuel
dc.description.abstractsources that can help other countries to design their generation
dc.description.abstractpolicy framework.
