| dc.description.abstract | and radiation free cardiac MRI is being used to evaluate the | |
| dc.description.abstract | function and anatomy of the heart chambers, heart valves and | |
| dc.description.abstract | blood flow through major vessels. The morphology, formation | |
| dc.description.abstract | and plaque buildup conditions of blood vessels indicates | |
| dc.description.abstract | diseases such as heart attack, stroke, angina, arrhythmias, | |
| dc.description.abstract | heart failure etc. Thus, the vessels needs to be identified | |
| dc.description.abstract | properly and clearly. In this paper, cardiac MRI is used for | |
| dc.description.abstract | accurate extraction and enhancement of blood vessel, | |
| dc.description.abstract | emphasizing upon the minor and somewhat discontinuous | |
| dc.description.abstract | vessels. MRI technique in this field was less explored and is | |
| dc.description.abstract | very challenging because of poor contrast difference between | |
| dc.description.abstract | the vessels and organs and mentionable amount of noise. The | |
| dc.description.abstract | detection process uses both morphological operators and image | |
| dc.description.abstract | gradient characteristics. The result obtained by using | |
| dc.description.abstract | morphological operators has better effectiveness in terms of | |
| dc.description.abstract | noise reduction and accuracy. | |
