Diospyros sylvatica, commonly referred to as Indian persimmon or wild ebony, has a rich history of traditional medicinal use owing to its diverse pharmacological properties. Objective: This study aims to investigate the analgesic and anti-allergic potential of the methanol extract from Diospyros sylvatic leaves. A phytochemical screening was performed to identify the extract's bioactive components. Materials and methods: The anti-allergic potential was assessed using a cow milk-induced allergic response model. The anti-allergic test was performed at Labtec Diagnostic Services under the supervision of Md Amirul Islam Amir, the lab in charge. To induce mouse allergies, Alcet (Levocetrizine Dihydrochloride 5mg tablet) was used as the standard, and cow's milk was used as the control group for Swiss albino mice. After seven days of experimental medicine and sample administration, mice were killed, and blood samples were taken. A blood sample of two to three millilitres was taken using the heart puncture procedure. The analgesic activity was investigated using the tail immersion method, which assesses the response to painful stimuli. The results showed that the time it took for the tail to be withdrawn in the tail immersion test increased in a manner that depended on the dose. This suggests that the extract from the Diospyros sylvatica plant may have pain-relieving benefits. Moreover, the extract exhibited a notable reduction in allergic reactions caused by cow milk, indicating its anti-allergic effects
