| dc.description.abstract | An experiment was conducted at Horticulture Farm, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during the period from October 2008 to March 2009. The experiment consisted with two factors; Factor A: pinching viz. P 5 0 : without pinching and P : with pinching and Factor B: foliar application of growth chemicals viz. F : Wuxol; F 2 : Vegimax, F 3 : Agro grow and F : Surgrow with 3 replications. In case of pinching the tallest plant 4 but maximum number of leaves per plant 0 and the shortest plant but minimum number of leaves 1 . For foliar application of growth chemicals the tallest plant 0 and the shortest plant 2 . In case of combined effect the maximum number of leaves per plant 1 F and all the above parameters were lowest with P 0 F 0 2 . So, pinching with vegimax was found suitable for growth and yield of chrysanthemum. | |
