Abstract

The article reports the significant achievement of Uttara University in the "World University Ranking for Innovation (WURI) 2025", where it secured the 257th position among the top 400 innovative universities globally—an improvement of 19 positions from the previous year. The university achieved first place worldwide in Infrastructure and Technological Development, ninth in University Brand and Reputation, and tenth in addressing SDG-based global challenges. The recognition underscores Uttara University's growing international standing and commitment to modern, sustainable, and technology-driven education. Vice-Chancellor Yasmin Ara Lekha described this global recognition as a source of pride for both the university and Bangladesh.
