Smart Attendance Solution Using RFID Technology

Abstract

The system under consideration is RFID Attendance System which mainly utilizes the Radio Frequency Identification – RFID in order to give an effective and automated means of capturing attendance in different places like schools, offices among others. The goal of this project is to eliminate the prior conventional approaches to attendances that involves paperwork and contact as the system devised here would employ less orno contacts at all while being very effective in delivery as compared to the aforementioned traditional ways. RFID tag is used in identifying persons and once the tag is placed before the system, their attendance is mentioned automatically. It synchronizes with cloud-based applications to log and store attendance data in real-timewhich means that the data can be accessed remotely without compromising on security. The project provides solutions to typical challenges related to manual attendancesystem such as inaccuracy, time-consuming, and possibility of fake information.
