Impact of Livestock Policies and Programmes of Bangladesh Government on Production

Abstract

The study on "Impact of Livestock Policies and Programmes of the Govern ent of Bangladesh" was undertaken as an important issue of development in the recent years. Creation of self-employment for poverty alleviation has been considered as an important objective of government's " Poverty Reduction Strategy Plan". Ih an agro-based country like Bangladesh, where livestock and poultry husbandry occupies top priority, the undertaking of such research work no doubt carries significance.-----------------
