Shomvob: An Android Application

Abstract

Shomvob is a professional and job opportunities platform based in Bangladesh, designed to connect employers with job seekers in the blue and silver collar sectors. The platform aims to alleviate challenges faced by both employers and job applicants by providing a streamlined and efficient way to connect with each other. One major problem that job seekers often face is the stress and time-consuming nature of the job search and application process, which can sometimes discourage them from even starting to look for work. At the same time, employers can also struggle to find the right candidates for their open positions, especially when there are many applicants and only a few are qualified. Shomvob aims to solve these problems by allowing employers to easily publish job listings and helping job seekers to apply for these roles, while also providing resources and training to help them build their careers and increase their confidence. By bridging the gap between employers and job seekers, Shomvob aims to support the career development and employment of the rising blue and silver collar workforce in Bangladesh.
