Abstract
In Bangladesh, among different kinds of winter vegetables bottle gourd is important
because of its high nutritive value and higher economic return. The present study was
designed to determine the profitability and resource use efficiency of bottle gourd production and its impact on the socio economic status of the
farmer in Rupganj Upazilla of Narayanganj district. A purposive random sampling
technique was used in this study. A total of 60 bottle gourd farmers from three villages
