Abstract

Smart Blood Donation Platform is a contemporary, web-based platform designed to bridge the gap of traditional blood donation management. The platform is designed to create a harmonious and effective connection between blood donors and recipients to ensure available of life saving of saving blood at the point of need. The platform offers a simple registration facility to become a blood donor by providing vital information like the blood group, geographical location and contract number. People with immediate needs for blood may search for compatible donors within the database based on blood group and geographical location, thus accessing help more conveniently and expeditiously. Special among the distinct features of this platform is its hospital registration module that specializes. Registered hospitals can enter urgent or planned blood orders directly with specifications of necessary blood type, amount to be procured, and deadline. The system subsequently automatically enters such orders with appropriate donors and produces automated email notifications to streamline donations efficiently. By bringing donors, recipients, and hospitals together within a single virtual framework, the platform minimizes unnecessary public gathering, disorientation, and communication issues. Such increased coordination accelerates the process of donating blood and enhances overall reliability. In total, the Smart Blood Donation Platform provides a safe, well-structured, and highly responsive blood donation system. Its implementation will significantly improve healthcare outcomes by saving lives, reducing logistical problems, and increasing the national healthcare system.
