Abstract
Nowadays, buying or selling of products over the internet is the most common daily
activity of people. In this digital world people become too busy. Time become
expensive that people don’t have it to go to market, search of desired products, buy
that products and waste time. For saving time, online buying system is the best
solution. In this digital world of e-commerce people love to buy or sell things online.
So why not the auction bidding system. That’s why as a final year project it is decided
to do an online auction system and named it “Auction BD”. Actually the auction is a
system where public sale of goods or property, where people make higher and higher
bids for each thing, until the thing is sold to the person who (the highest bidder) will
pay most. So the online auction is the online version of the same auction system. The
online auction system has two parts- customer interface and admin interface. This
system presents an online display of category wised products to sell or bid and there
will be some options for user to browse category and products. Admin can add
categories and products from admin panel. There will be a good dashboard for admin
that admin can check everything and modify or delete any information from the
admin panel. To bid on a product customer must has to login first. After logging in
customer can bid on a product and admin can select the winner from bidder list. This
is how the online auction system works. The main goal of the project is to build a web
application that can save time, money, give better price, better choice and provide the
best service of auction system online.
