A review on farming of commercial broiler farm in Rangpur Sadar Upazila

Abstract

The study was carried out to identify the rearing and management systems of commercial broiler and production performance of broiler with their problem at different farm in Rangpur Sadar upazila during internship placement at UVH from 1 April 2024 to 20 june 2024. During this period I collected data about feeding, housing, biosecuirity, marketing practice by a face to face interview through questionnaire from 10 farms randomly. I found that most of them (50%) purchased chick from dealer and 70% of them collected feed from dealer. They mainly fed them provita, paragon feed. They gave them unlimited feed and water. They use bamboo, brick and wood for building their house. Most of the farmers (90%) allowed visitors. Some of them (30%) used footbath . Most of the farmer didn’t know about scientifical method of farming. If they got proper training on it they can be used that on farming properly
