Abstract

This report is based on my internship at Yunusco (BD) Limited, a leading lingerie and knitwear manufacturer in Bangladesh. During the attachment period, I worked in five key departments—Industrial Engineering, Production, Sample, CAD and Pattern, Human Resource, and Merchandising—to observe their functions and inter-departmental coordination. I started my internship from the production department. This is the department where all the things are happened and I found it very interesting. Every day there are new challenges, new target and new solution. In my observation production department continuously going through with the Style closing, Style changeover, On time delivery meet, maintain product quality consistently. My internship experience in the Production Department provided me with valuable practical knowledge about production planning, workflow coordination, operator management, and real-time performance monitoring in a garment’s factory environment. It helped me connect theoretical understanding with actual production practices and enhanced my appreciation of teamwork and discipline in a large scale manufacturing setup. This is the team which work for productivity improvement, Efficiency improvement, Minimize skill gap, Process standardization, Kaizen culture practice, Process innovation and automation and skill upgradation. IE play a very important rule to develop a factory and sustainable production system. Middle of the internship I work in sample, CAD and pattern department.
