Child Mortality and its Impact on Reproductive Pattern in Bangladesh

Abstract

The actual picture of infant and child mortality it’s important not only for demographic assessment of the country's population, but also for the design anti evaluation of health programs. Infant anti child mortality is a sensitive indicator of life socio-economic status, nutritional standard and health condition prevailing in a community. This estimate is used for monitoring anti evaluating population and health programs anti policies. Again reproduction is the most significant demographic characteristic of women, which plays a vital role of population changes anti strategies of a country. Its aspects cannot denied in the fertility behavior of a human population.
