Abstract
The main purposes of the study was to determine the extent of involvement of
rural women in homestead vegetables production of Shahjadpur Upazilla
under Sirajganj district and to identify the contributing factors of the rural
women in their involvement in homestead vegetables production. The study
was conducted in 4 villages namely Binnadair, choyra, madla and kakilamari
under Rupbati and Potajiya union. Data were collected from 74 rural women
by using a pre-tested interview schedule during the period from August 20 to
October 20, 2015. Appropriate scales were developed to measure the variables
of the study. Multiple regression was used to ascertain the contribution of the
concerned independent variables on dependent variable of the study. Findings
