dc.description.abstractThe clinical study was conducted to monitor the frequency of infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) or Gumboro among the sample birds of broiler farms of old town area of Dhaka city. This clinical study was conducted during the period of Internship study from 17th December 2008 to 16th February, 2009. A total number of 159 sick and dead chickens were recieved in Central Veterinary Hospital (CVH), Dhaka All samples were investigated through clinical anamnesis and post- mortem findings. The result indicates that the highest case was recorded in Infectious Bursal Disease (30. 18%) and lowest case was recorded in miss-management (1.25%) the mixed infection cases of IBD occurs with Enteritis (non- specific) (42.30%), IBD with Cecal coccidiosis (30.77%), IBD with Newcastle disease (15.39%), and IBD with Colibdcillosis (11.54%). More infection was occured in non-vaccinated chicken (75%) than vaccinated chicken (25%).
