Abstract
A field experiment was conducted at the Horticulture Farm, Sher-e-Bangla
Agricultural University, Dhaka during the period of November 2015 to March
2016. The experiment comprised of three levels of sowing time viz., S

was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. All
the studied parameters significantly influenced by sowing time, mulching and their
