Computer Networks (Network Engineering-BTC)

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to document the successful completion of my internship under the supervision of Saiful Islam. I have completed an internship at Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL), a core company for evaluating of telegraphs and telephones in Bangladesh. BTCL owns and operates almost all of the country's copper, fiber optic, andmicrowave networks.BTCLgives almost all kinds of services related to the telecommunication sector in Bangladesh. Like, voice carrier, IGW, IIG, ICX, ISP, NGN, and PSTN operator, as well as a registrar of cc domains (.bd). I have worked there as a team many times since it was four months of duration, which is a long time.I have performed many operations with my team and sometimes individually. Most of the time, I performed GPON and ADSL connection and troubleshooting. In this report, I have mentioned several things related to telecommunication and networking. IMS is one of the essential parts of the Soft switch division of BTCL; I was thereduring the third month of my internship. This company has a huge collection of equipment, and the trainer/teacher was very sophisticated, this is why I am glad to be a part of BTCL’s team. In this report, you can figure out my findings about my internship in network engineering.
