Abstract

This study was conducted at the Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh during the period from October 2016 to February 2017. The experiment consisted of two factors: Factor A: Planting time as T 1 : Planting at 15 November, T 2 : Planting at 30 November,T : Planting at 15 December and Factor B: Poultry manure 0 3 : Control i.e. no manure application; M 1 : Poultry manure @ 8 t/ha; M 2 : Poultry Manure @ 12 t/ha and M : Poultry manure @ 16 t/ha. The experiment was laid out with Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. In planting time, the highest yield per hectare 2 , while the lowest . For poultry manure, the highest yield per hectare , whereas the lowest . Due to the combined effect, the highest yield per hectare 0 2 M , whereas the lowest 3 M 0 .The highest BCR 2 2 M and the lowest 3 M 0. 2 Therefore, planting at 30 November with 12 t /ha poultry manure was best for the kohlrabi production.
