Abstract
Executive Summary
This internship report presents a comprehensive overview of my 14-week placement at
ACI Foods Limited, one of Bangladesh's leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
companies. As a Strategic Planning Intern, and later a Business Analyst in the Rice Unit, I
was engaged in a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including data-driven sales analytics,
CAPEX evaluations, market research, and cross-functional coordination. Leveraging tools
like Python, Streamlit, Power BI, and Excel, I contributed to key projects that supported
strategic decisions and operational efficiency. Notable achievements included the
development of interactive dashboards, SKU performance analyses, and streamlined
reporting systems, many of which informed senior-level decision-making. This internship
not only enhanced my technical and analytical skillset but also provided invaluable
exposure to real-world corporate challenges in the FMCG sector. The experience served as
a practical extension of my academic training from the Islamic University of Technology
(IUT), ultimately culminating in a full-time offer as a Business Analyst at ACI Foods
Limited.
