Abstract

North South University (NSU) secured a position in the 351-400 band in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2026, becoming the No.1 private university in Bangladesh along with Daffodil International University. The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2026 evaluated a total of 929 universities from 36 countries and territories, making it one of the most comprehensive regional assessments of higher education institutions. Expressing his satisfaction with this achievement, Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, vice-chancellor of North South University, stated, "This recognition reflects the collective dedication and hard work of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
