Abstract
This thesis presents the design and implementation of the MTB NRB Account
Digital Onboarding Platform created for Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs). The
account opening process was traditionally lengthy and time-consuming, requiring
manual documentation and extensive back-and-forth communication with bank officials.
But this project proposes a system that eliminates these inefficiencies by
offering a fully digital, paperless, and user-centric onboarding platform.
With this solution, customers can now independently open their NRB accounts
from anywhere in the world using any device. The platform supports both Self
Mode, where customers open accounts independently, and Assisted Mode, where
NRB officials help customers complete the process.
