dc.description.abstractDiabetes is an epidemic globally. It is not selective; that is, it can affect anyone, literally; it is truly cross-sectional, and also multi-national. Notably, the occurrence of type 2 diabetes has escalated at an alarming rate, especially in the low-and middle-income countries for over the past three decades. Nevertheless, diabetic nephropathy- popularly known as diabetes, or diabetic kidney disease- a type of CKD has significantly questioned this issue. It is an enduring situation characterized primarily by damage to the capillary blood vessels in the glomeruli of the kidneys’ nephrons.
