The books are Marketing- Applications in Bangladesh by Professor Tamgid Ahmed Chowdhury, and Cases on Marketing-Perspectives from Bangladesh by Zarjina Tarana Khalil, senior lecturer, marketing and international business faculty members of the marketing and international business. The panel included Professor Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, associate professor Shahriar Iqbal Raj, associate professor Shafin Rahman, Golam Mohammad Mohiuddin, lecturer AKM Saleh Ahmed Anik, and was moderated by Professor Mujtaba Ahsan, Department of Architecture, NSU.Item Beyond Exam Anxiety held at NSU(New Age, 2026-12-09) New AgeThe North South University’s Counselling and Wellbeing Centre has recently organised a workshop titled Beyond Exam Anxiety at the NSU in Dhaka. According to a recent survey, 66 per cent of university students have severe test anxiety. Counselling psychologist and assistant professor of Dhaka University Roufun Nahar was the facilitator of the event. Psychologists of the CWC assisted her as co-facilitators. Professor Abdul Khaleque, proctor of the university, encouraged students to focus on life skills in his closing remark.Item NSU, UNDP host workshop on AI(New Age, 2026-01-14) New AgeNorth South University’s department of management, in collaboration with UNDP Bangladesh, organised a focused workshop titled ‘Responsible AI in practice: Civil society, governance, and accountability in Bangladesh’ at the SBE dean’s conference room on its campus in Dhaka on Tuesday. NSU Registrar Dr. Ahmed Tajmin delivered the inaugural speech.Item NSU’s architecture dept hosts Meet the Parents(New Age, 2025-10-22) New AgeThe Department of Architecture at North South University organised a socially responsive event titled ‘Meet the Parents’ on its campus in Dhaka on Monday. The event was chaired by Associate Professor Shahriar Iqbal Raj, chair of the department, and attended by Ar AKM Saleh Ahmed Anik, lecturer and studio instructor of the ARC 111 course. Following his speech, the floor was opened to parents, who expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage directly with faculty. Many emphasised the importance of discipline, dedication, and academic focus. The event ended on a hopeful note, reinforcing the shared commitment of NSU, its students, and families to building a future grounded in creativity, integrity, and collaboration.
