    Opportunities and Challenges of Digital Marketing in Bangladesh

    Digital marketing is the utilization of electronic media by the marketers to promote the products or services into the market. It is one of the current trends not only in Bangladesh but also all over the world. Consumers and business owners in Bangladesh are facing several new challenges and problems in the digital age. However, there still have some opportunities and strength for using digital marketing such as increasing Smartphone usages, Government Internet promotion, popularity of native advertising, etc. It has been found that marketing strategies are changed to adopt the digital age such as several online-based home delivery (chaldal.com, foodpanda.com, aarong.com, etc) are took place in Business to Consumer. Users are also using digital market places such as Bikroy.com, olx.com, etc. in Consumer to Consumer business type. This study analyses the current status, challenges and opportunities of digital marketing in Bangladesh. Questioners have been developed based on dichotomous, multiple choice, and demographic survey style for collecting data on digital marketing in Bangladesh. Randomly 150 respondents were surveyed for completing that digital marketing survey. It has been found that maximum respondents are male (about 73%), and major respondents are young in age (20 to 40 years) which about 77%. It is good to find that, almost every people are conscious about digital marketing and maximum respondents prefer online marketing which about 79%. Several significant bivariate relationships among collected data has also been found such as occupation and gender, occupation and age category, age category and favorite site of marketing, etc. To reach the sky on digital marketing in Bangladesh, several recommendations are suggested such as the infrastructure should be developed so that digital media resources will be easily available; bringing international payment service providers’ such as PayPal, Visa, etc. Finally it can be concluded that digital marketing brings the greatest advantage for the consumers by allowing them to make comparison among products or services. It is the time to bring all stakeholders including government, business, advertisement agencies, media and technology players under a same platform to promote digital marketing practices in Bangladesh.

    Effectiveness and Impact of SafaL Program: A Study of Jagoroni Chakra Foundation, Jessore

    This report is expecting to strive the effectiveness of SaFaL program which is implementing in Jessore and Narail through implementing partner JCF along with the Technical Assistance of Solidaridad Network Asia–SNA. On the way of SaFaL’s journey as a partner JCF has played significant roles against it ‘prospective result, change and market stability. In fact, farmers are able to mobilize their physical asset through different sorts of capacity buildings activities by getting support from SaFaL. JCF-SaFaL program is working for enhancing food and nutrition security of small farmers and landless workers in Southwest Bangladesh with a focus on developing resilient livelihoods through promoting sustainable agricultural production and market chain development. SaFaL mandate is to be increased productivity and build vibrant market system which has been obtained already. Farmers satisfaction regarding SaFaL is much more high as they think SaFaL as their proper guideline. Increased productivity with high profit, sustainable livelihood, food security and safety, reducing post harvest loss, reducing child mortality, training facilities, health care services etc are the achievement of SaFaL.

    GENERAL BANKING ACTIVITIES AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ON SERVICE QUALITY OF BANGLADESH KRISHI BANK : A CASE STUDY ON SHAMOLY BRANCH, DHAKA

    As a part of academic requirement and completion of MBA program, I have been assigned to complete internship report on ‘’General banking Activities and customer satisfaction on service quality of Bangladesh Krishi Bank : A case Study on Shyamoli Branch, Dhaka” under the supervision of Md. Abdul Latif, Associate professor, Department of Agricultural Statistics, Faculty of Agribusiness Management, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. The Report opens up with an overall introduction on how this topic come to be and why it was chosen for the internship program including the sources of data collection and constraints faced during the 12-week work experience. Here I have talked about the overall view the company, company's advantages and disadvantages and tried to give some solutions of those problems. This study attempted to understand the customer perceptions on different service quality dimensions while dealing with this bank. I have talked about the loans which Krishi bank give to people like crop loan, fisheries loan, shrimp loan, livestock loan. And I also describe the sections where I have worked as a trainee like Savings account, current and fixed account, SND section, clearing section, internal and external remittance, Shonchoypotro and foreign exchange department. Here I have tried to give the basic ideas of those sections. This is a descriptive type of research. Information was collected from primary and secondary sources. I used “Questionnaire method” to collect data. Primary data came from my day to day observation and interviewing employees. Secondary data was collected by Organization employee hand book, website, and relevant books. I tried to minimize to bias and produce an unbiased report. At last, I find some problems of the bank that are hurdles to the improvement of this bank. To overcome these problems, I have suggested some recommendations and conclude the report. To satisfy customers, the management can take some attempts. I have come up with some points, which can improve the efficiency as well as quality of the service. Bangladesh Krishi Bank needs to give more emphasize on it’s service quality because survey shows customers are very much quality oriented in Banking than ever before. To retain their customers and make them loyal Bangladesh Krishi Bank should give some exclusive offering. At last I tried to indemnify the problems of the company, and also tried to give some solutions.
