    Agent Banking Prospect in Bangladesh

    In a country where nearly half the population is engaged in agriculture and predominantly resides in rural areas with limited access to financial services, the challenges of financial inclusion are significant. Many individuals, particularly women, remain uneducated due to a lack of educational opportunities, further exacerbating their financial exclusion. The Global Index Database 2017 indicates that only about 50% of people aged 15 and older have bank accounts, with the figures for women being even lower. This study explores the potential of agent banking as a viable solution to provide essential financial services to unbanked populations in remote areas. Agent banking can reduce costs and resource constraints while facilitating employment opportunities. By enhancing access to banking services, agent banking has the potential to address inequities in financial access. This research aims to raise awareness and promote further studies on agent banking to encourage its implementation for the benefit of underserved communities.

    Anti-Parasitic Drug Discovery Against Babesia microti by Natural Compounds

    Tick-borne Babesiosis is a parasitic infection caused by Babesia microti that can infect both animals and humans and may spread by tick, blood transfusions, and organ transplantation. The current therapeutic options for B. microti are limited, and drug resistance is a concern. This study proposes using computational drug design approaches to find and design an effective drug against B. microti. The study investigated the potentiality of nine natural compounds against the pathogenic human B. microti parasite and identified Vasicinone and Evodiamine as the most promising drugs. The ligand structures were optimized using density functional theory, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, quantum mechanics such as HOMO-LUMO, drug-likeness and theoretical absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity (ADMET), and pharmacokinetics characteristics performed. The results showed that Vasicinone (-8.6 kcal/mol and -7.8 kcal/mol) and Evodiamine (-8.7 kcal/mol and -8.5 kcal/mol) had the highest binding energy and anti-parasitic activity against B. microti lactate dehydrogenase and B. microti lactate dehydrogenase apo form. The strongest binding energy was reported by Vasicinone and Evodiamine; the compounds were evaluated through molecular dynamics simulation at 100 ns, and their stability when they form complexes with the targeted receptors was determined. Finally, the pkCSM web server is employed to predict the ADMET qualities of specific molecules, which can help prevent negative effects that arise from taking the treatment. The SwissADME web server is used to assess the Lipinski rule of five and drug-likeness properties including topological polar surface area and bioavailability. The Lipinski rule is used to estimate significant drug-likeness. The theoretical pharmacokinetics analysis and drug-likeness of the selected compounds are confirmed to be accepted by the Lipinski rule and have better ADMET features. Thus, to confirm their experimental value, these mentioned molecules should be suggested to carry out in wet lab, pre-clinical, and clinical levels.

    COVID-19 Detection from Chest X-Ray Images Using CNN Models and Deep Learning

    The dangerous disease and ailment known as COVID-19 has caused a global pandemic and immeasurable damage to people all around the globe. Chest X-Rays are being used to identify COVID-19 in current times due to their low cost and efficiency. In this paper, we developed Convolutional Neural Network models to detect COVID-19 from Chest X-Ray images. CNN models from the Keras library such as VGG16, VGG19, Xception, ResNet101, ResNet152, Inception, InceptionResNet, MobileNetV2, DenseNet201, NASNetLarge, and EfficientNetB3 have been used to perform experimentations. The CNN models used ImageNet as its pre-trained weights for transfer learning. Additionally, a multi-layered self-designed model has been implemented as well to see the performance. A comparative analysis has been completed in order to find the best-performing CNN model for COVID-19 detection in Chest X-Ray images. From the experiments, we found that the proposed CNN gave the best results. Additionally, it has been observed that MobileNetV2, Inception, ResNet101, and VGG16 give the highest accuracy over 99%, while the lowest accuracy is found by EfficientNetB3 at only around 50%. The self-designed multi-layered model gives a training accuracy of 97.22% and a validation accuracy of 96.42%. A significant increase in accuracy and excellent performance has been seen from the CNN models and the proposed framework.

    Impact of coaching classes on students english language (L2) learning

    Coaching classes for academic subjects are old phenomenon in Bangladesh, there is a huge number of students go to coaching centers for learning English as second language (L2) because coaching centres use different teaching methods that help students to understand the language (L2) better. The aim of this thesis is to study the positive and negative effects of coaching classes on English language learning in secondary education (from class 6 - class 12) as being L2. The data collected from various schools and coaching centres for English language of Dhaka through a number of questionnaires to collect their opinions from students, teachers and parents, and by means of class room (both school and coaching) observation concerning the problems faced by English language learners. And classroom observation was done successfully to find out where there was any lacking in English teaching or not. The findings from the survey show that secondary school level students are satisfied with the English lessons that provided coaching centres. Both teachers and students agreed that students are more likely to have coaching classes than paying attention to regular classroom studies. But learners should not fully depend on coaching centres. Students, parents and teachers should understand why students need extra care for learning English Language and how he/she can get benefits fully from those private classes known as coaching centres. So, Bangladesh government should raise awareness about it.

In Well Group, I have been doled out for finishing everyday HR exercises, for example, labor arranging, leave encashment, versatile bill investigation, CV screening, help with meet, etc. Performance Appraisal System is a procedure of setting goals, building courses of action to accomplish the objectives and perfect results. Prizes and affirmation are the end period of this procedure. Associations use this system to assess the exhibition of an individual, a gathering, a limit and a while later the relationship as an aggregate power. Right now, whole usage structure is spoken to for the association Well Group. Well Group of Industries Limited turned over its excursion in Bangladesh in the year 1973. Execution evaluation is imperative to deal with the gifts in the association so they feel that they are being minded and they have the profession development openings. Right now, as applicants are not landing acceptable position then again associations are likewise not getting potential up-and-comers.
