A Report on Hypoid Composite Knit Limited
(Daffodil International University, 2018-11-24) Shekh, Md. Shajal; Salahuddin, Md.
Textile and garments sector is the biggest and fastest growing sector of Bangladesh. It is also the highest foreign currency earning sector of Bangladesh. Bangladesh earns nearly $27 billion a year by exporting textile and garments products to all over the world. From the start of this project, we have to work a lot harder. We did our internship program group wise comprising 2 (two) members. Here, we have to approach each and every department. Every people help us of the industry to make our internship program easy. Actually limitation was that time was very much shorter. We tried to conduct our work successively. So we began my journey from yarn storage section and ended it at Industrial Engineering department. We have worked in Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, also for the ETP Also.

A WORKING REPORT ON EXPORT DEPARTMENT OF PRIME BANK LIMITED
(Independent University, Bangladesh, 2010-05-02) Salahuddin, Md.
Every year the foreign transaction of Prime Bank ltd has been on the rise contributing more and more to the country’s economic growth. And the last few years were no different with significant rise in remittance during the last quarter of 2009. However that didn’t show any signs of restrains and neither did it show any changes in terms of commodities being traded, as the volume of trade kept on increasing. No matter whatever the challenges are in the area of Foreign Trade, Prime Bank is fully equipped to face any obstacle. For the last 6 Years they have hold the Number 1 position in the Bangladesh Banks CAMELS rating and hopes to be on top this year as well. As the economy of Bangladesh is increasing so is the country foreign trade and Prime Bank like always have played its role in making sure that things go smoothly. However, since sky is the limit, the bank is still evolving every day striving to provide its Foreign Exchange customer and others with the best possible service. Just before the starting of my professional life I got the opportunity to work one of the leading bank of Bangladesh and I hope my work experiences will help me in future in my professional life at the end of my report I would like to thank the HR division of Prime Bank Ltd for giving me the opportunity to work with them.

Early Prevention and Detection of Cancer Risk for Low Income Country using Data Mining Technology: Bangladesh Perspective
(Semantic Scholar, 2016) Islam, Md Shariful; Akhter, Sharmin; Salahuddin, Md.; Sah, Jay Prakash; Rahman, Md Ramim Tanver; Asaduzzaman, Sayed; Ahmed, Kawsar; Mohiuddin, AKM; Shibly, Abu Zaffar
Dominant population of the world including Bangladesh is suffering from skin, lung, cervical and ovarian cancer because of being unconsciousness about cancer as well as their risk factors. Many of them are illiterate and poor. They cannot go to doctor and do must outdoor activities due to lack of money. Most of them do not even know they have skin cancer. So the ability to predict such cancer with minimum cost plays a pivotal role in the diagnosis process. Therefore use of new information technology data mining and risk prediction systems for cancer research can be more effective for early detection and awareness for future possible chemotherapeutic treatment. The Architectural Design of Healthcare Service with Big-Data Storing Mechanism
(Semantic Scholar, 2014-10) Salahuddin, Md.; Allayear, Shaikh Muhammad; Park, Sung Soon
Healthcare is the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, illness, injury, and other physical and mental impairments in human beings. Healthcare is delivered by practitioners in allied health, dentistry, midwifery-obstetrics, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, psychology and other care providers. In healthcare service to provide better performance to identify some diseases like blood pressure, skin cancer, diabetes etc. with the sensor devices those are connected with home server by using wireless sensor or wired network policies. The size of data sets being collected and analyzed in the industry for healthcare business intelligence is growing rapidly. In healthcare service case we have to concern about massive data services. To store and process huge amount of unstructured data by using traditional database system is so difficult. To alleviate this drawback we can use Hadoop architecture that has functionality to store and process huge amount of unstructured data. Hadoop Distributed file system (HDFS) can store and the Hadoop MapReduce framework process huge amount of unstructured data that enables easy development of scalable parallel applications. This paper’s main motivation is to ensure better data transmission, data reliability and massive data processing with High Availability (HA) based network storage solution. So, in this paper we proposed MapReduce Agent (MRA) to process Big-Data and also proposed iSCSI Protocol adapted Network Attached Storage (NAS) system for healthcare service.

The Emergence of Modified Hadoop Online-Based MapReduce Technology in Cloud Environments
(Springer, 2015-06-14) Allayear, Shaikh Muhammad; Salahuddin, Md.; Hossain, Delwar; Park, Sung Soon
The exponential growth of data first presented challenges to cutting-edge businesses such as Goggle, Yahoo, Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, and Twitter. Data volumes to be processed by cloud applications are growing much faster than computing power. This growth demands new strategies for processing and analyzing information. Hadoop MapReduce has become a powerful computation model that addresses those problems. MapReduce is a programming model that enables easy development of scalable parallel applications to process vast amounts of data on large clusters. Through a simple interface with two functions, map and reduce, this model facilitates parallel implementation of many real world tasks such as data processing for search engines and machine learning. Earlier versions of Hadoop MapReduce had several performance problems like connection between map to reduce task, data overload and slow processing. In this paper, we propose a modified MapReduce architecture – MapReduce Agent (MRA) – that resolves those performance problems. MRA can reduce completion time, improve system utilization, and give better performance. MRA employs multi-connection which resolves error recovery with a Q-chained load balancing system. In this paper, we also discuss various applications and implementations of the MapReduce programming model in cloud environments. Full Text Link: https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-20233-4_8

Towards Adapting NAS Mechanism over Solid State Disks
(IOSR-JCE, 2014-10) Allayear, Shaikh Muhammad; Ferdaus, Jannatul; Salahuddin, Md.; Park, Sung Soon
Flash memory storage such as SSDs (Solid State disks) have been gaining popularity due to its low energy consumption and durability in embedded systems and laptops. With the fast technical improvement, Solid State Disks (SSDs) are becoming an important part of the computer storage hierarchy to significantly improve performance and energy efficiency. However, due to its relatively high price and low capacity, a major system research issue to address is on how to make SSDs play their most effective roles as a high-performance storage system in cost- and performance-effective ways. In this paper, we describe a NAS prototype that eliminates most software overheads and makes Solid State Disks a high-performance storage system in cost- and performance-effective ways. NAS integrates a network adapter into SSDs, so the SSDs remove the random access time, Reduce administrative overhead while delivering scalable, reliable data storage. NAS can also give support block based I/O rather than traditional NAS system which supports only file I/O protocol such as NFS and CIFS. Our scale-out NAS solutions can boost capacity and performance while enabling flexible provisioning, no disruptive operations, easy scalability, and virtualization. As the storage and processing requirements of the file server continued to increase data security and integrity became difficult to manage in conventional NAS, this NAS can ensure the data integrity and sanctity as well.
