A CLINICAL REPORT ON DYSTOCIA IN CASE OF GOAT

Study on dystocia in case of goat.The study was conducted from 30th October to 15th December,2009 at Upazila Vetrinary Hospital Sunamgaonj and SAQTVH, Chittagong.The study was carried out to measure the incidence of pregnant goat with dystocia coming at the veterinary hospitals of Sunamgonj and ctg.The close observation of the cases regarding collection of history of animals and correction of the cases was also done.In the first phase of the study,dystocial cases were selected out of total 147 cases from history and all informations were collected from the hospital then owner.The correction of the cases was performed, 2 were by manually and the last one was by caesarean section.The results of the present study indicates that the incidence of dystocia was 2.04 out of totl cases2.29% in Sunamgonj and 1.67% in Chittagong. The causes of the 3 dystocial cases were downward deviation of head and oversize of fetus.The first two cases were found in Sunamgonj and the last one was in ctg

Economic Development of Bangladesh: The Role of IBBL

This paper presents the role of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) to the recent economic development in Bangladesh. The study analyses published texts, articles, websites and annual report of this bank through a content analysis. Key findings of this study manifest the contribution of this bank in different areas of economic development in Bangladesh like generating employment, earning foreign remittance, strengthening rural economy, promoting ecology and green banking, boosting industrialization, developing the SMEs, assisting in foreign trade (import-export), developing the housing sector etc. This study also identifies IBBL’s significant contribution to the national exchequer. This paper contributes to the field of economic development of Bangladesh and the role of IBBL behind it and fills the gap of literature in this specific area.
Examining Performance of Islamic Banks in Bangladesh Using Stochastic Frontier Analysis and Maqasid Model

The current study uses the parametric Stochastic Frontier Approach (SFA) with the Maqasid Model, Performance Measures based on Maqasid al Shariah (PMMS) to empirically evaluate the performance of Bangladeshi Islamic commercial banks from 2005 to 2018. In accordance with the SFA model, Islamic commercial banks had an average cost efficiency value of 0.78 between 2005 and 2018, which was greater than traditional state banks’ (0.781), but lower than local private banks’ (0.879) and international banks’ (0.969). This implies that Islamic and other commercial banks can save identical stage of output with the same quantity of resources. Under the PMMS Model empirical evidences show that Islamic banks experienced a low level of performance based on the Maqasid Index which ranges from 19.16% to 23.07%. The current article provides significant information on performance gaps of Islamic commercial banks and its determinants. The regulators, policy makers and managers can adopt necessary policy actions to improve performance of Islamic commercial banks from perspective of cost efficiency and welfare issue.

73.61 percent of goat keeper fed their goats limited feed per goat per day along with concentrates(table-6). During my study I have found 33.33 percent within homestead, 29.17 percent attached house and 27.78 percent was extra house as a thatched house. Approximately 50.00 percent of the In my study I have found distribution of family members of goat rearing household according to their age group(table-1). The age group distribution shows that, considering moderate poor and ultra poor household about 31 percent of family members lies in 21 -30 age group and than 27.20 percent lies on 11 -20 age group which indicates that, dependent family members were found higher than earning groups of people. Seventeen percent were found illiterate, 25 percent can only sign in Habiganj, 7 percent belong to higher secondary in all average. Only 1.72 percent of the total population belong to bachelor(table-2) . About 13.89 percent of family head works in homestead gardening with crop agricultural in Habiganj average. Crop agriculture with grocery business were the main occupation for 18.06 percent., 8.33 percent of the family head were daily labour in Habiganj. 40.28 percent of the family head (table-3). About 11.11 percent of the respondent had no land area but lives in other fellow land in Habiganj. 26.38 percent of the goat rearing households had homestead area(table-4). About 6.90 percent of the households had homestead and forest land in Habiganj and all average respectively. Only 8.33, 8.33, 4.17 and 6.90 percent of the goat rearing beneficiaries had homestead and fellow land in Habiganj (table-5).In my study approximately 51.39 percent of goat rearers fed concentrates to their goat at mid day and 48.61 percent at afternoon. Incase of roughage feeding the table showed that, approximately 48.61 percent fed jackfruit leaves and 26.39 percent occasionally used mandar leaves to the goats and kids. Approximately goat rearers kept their goats having 10 sq. ft space followed by 41.67 and 8.33 percent goat keepers kept their goats having 15 sq. ft (table-7)
The Biggest Global Issues Facing Humankind: A Meta-Analysis of Poverty Alleviation and Poverty Eradication

This study conducted a comprehensive literature review on global poverty alleviation and eradication. A structured literature review (SLR) was employed, collecting 955 articles from the Scopus database spanning from 1990 to 2022. The data was analyzed using bibliometric analysis tools and Excel. The paper explores the significant and conceptual aspects of the published literature on poverty alleviation and eradication. Additionally, it highlights the global issues faced by humanity, such as poverty alleviation and eradication, their origins, and implications. The study also provides potential directions for future research in this field by examining the poverty alleviation and eradication strategies employed by China and the USA. The significance of this study lies in the need for further research on the factors limiting efforts toward poverty alleviation and eradication from a global perspective. These findings can serve as a foundation for global anti-poverty initiatives and offer insights into reducing poverty in underdeveloped and developing nations worldwide.
