Item Analysis and Investigate the Effect of Radiation on Professional Workers in Radiology and Imaging Department(Daffodil International University, 2020-07-19) Rahman, Md. Asif; Ahmed, Samia; Hassan, Mohamed AbdiThis research work presents the analysis of the radiation exposure level of workers in the department of X-Ray, CT scan, and MRI. The information was gathered from that particular department and it was investigated and compared with the standard radiation dose level that is verified worldwide by the International Committee on radiological protection (ICRP). In which the reason for this thesis is to define the impact of worker's radiation levels and how the results of radiation to the people groups in the hospitals and close by just as states some careful steps because of tipsiness for a specific circumstance. This works described appropriation and patterns of doses which came word related radiation exposure among radiologists from some chose diagnostics in Dhaka Bangladesh, where multi-month portion estimations were gathered for a time of half year. A transportable situation radiation screen (thermoluminescent dosimeters) was utilized to measure the level of radiation in work environments in certain departments that manage radiation of diagnostic situated in various places of the city. An aggregate of 57 radiation workers was observed. The average estimated radiation doses of the workers are 0.02 to 7.75 mSv. Among these, workers in the radiology division got the highest assessed doses. The investigation shapes the exposures phase of more extensive, complete, and increasingly normal observing of word related radiation introductions and long haul examinations concerning its gathering designs, which could frame the premise of future records on the hindering impacts of radiation, normal for laborers who work in radiation fields. The ionizing hazard has very much impactful on people's regular life. Different types of cancers arise to emerge because of obvious radiation exposure to ionizing radiation like X-beams. This thesis work is not only for occupational workers, but it also for the general peoples who visited there for health issues or diagnostic issues. Finally, we can say that this exposure increased sometimes unintentionally or sometimes having a lack of knowledge. The occupational workers have to very much sincere and well known about the exposure. They must have to maintain the safety and all precautions for the patients also for themselves.Item Depth-aware object detection and region filtering for autonomous vehicles: a monocular camera-based novel integration of MiDaS and YOLO for complex road scenarios with irregular traffic(BRAC University, 2024-10) Sujoy, Md. Imamul Mursalin; Rahman, Md. Asif; Dhruba, Utsha Sen; Prattoy, Sartaj Emon; Rhaman, Md KhalilurIn this era of technological advancement, autonomous vehicles strive towards revolutionizing the transportation system. Object detection and distance measurement are critical for autonomous driving, particularly in dynamic and unpredictable environments. This paper presents a new approach for improving object detection and depth estimation in autonomous vehicles, with a focus on the complex road conditions of Bangladesh. Using MiDaS for depth estimation and YOLOv8 for object detection, we introduced the Depth Aware ROI Filter (DARF) to refine the region of interest, enhancing detection accuracy while reducing processing time by more than 85%. By focusing solely on depth-relevant areas, our method optimizes object detection, combining depth information and object classification essential for autonomous navigation. Tested on a diverse dataset of Bangladeshi road scenarios, including various vehicles and weather conditions, our approach ensures real-world applicability. Additionally, we explored several regression models to calculate the relative depth-to-real distance scale factor, further improving depth accuracy. This work demonstrates the potential of our system to enhance real-time decision-making in autonomous vehicles, paving the way for advancements in object tracking and system optimization in complex road environments.Item JOBSKILLBD.COM Online Job Portal Application(Daffodil International University, 2018-12-11) Islam, Md. Zubayer; Rahman, Md. Asif; Akter, Mst. ShaplaThis project is on “Jobskillbd.com”. This is an web based Online Job portal application, which will help the job seeker to find job and apply job. Also help to create strong cv and cover letter and help to take job preparation. On the other hand Employer can post job circular and filtering cv using specific keyword from huge amount of cv and select job seeker. The aim of the web Application is to build a better application to provide online job portal system. Job seeker can create cv and download different types of CV and Cover for different types of job. And jobseeker can able to upload their resume and video resume in the system. After creating cv job seeker can able to apply job. Job seeker can get recommendation and notification for matched job. Job seeker can search job using specific keyword and job type. Both type of user can follow and unfollow each other. In this system admin can manage database and perform specific action. To develop this project the most essential devices are computer and smart phone to test the application. Need computer and xampp server for localhost. On the other hand we needed sublime text editor for web application coding. With this web application Job seekers and employers will get benefits and it will easy to job finding and job recruitment process. Employer can post job circular easily and job seeker will find and apply job without trouble. This is the main purpose of our project. So, I think it will help all the job seekers and employer. They will done a lots of thing by this web application. After implementation of all features, the system is tested in different devises and it works successfully as a prototype.
