COMMON HAEMOPROZOAL INFECTION WITH THEIR PREVALANCE IN CATTLE

The study was undertaken for a period of 44 days from 30th September to 12th November 2009 to measure the proportional prevalence of blood parasitic diseases in cattle at Gabtaly Upazilla of Bogra District and to identify the risk factors associated with blood parasitic diseases. A total of 49 cattle were included in the study for epidemiological study, laboratory examination and statistical analysis. The epidemiological survey of this study was carried out using preset questionnaires, for laboratory examination peripheral blood smears from ear vein were prepared from suspected cattle (2 smears per cattle). Result revealed that the proportional prevalence of babesiosis and anaplasmosis were 55.10%, and 6.12% respectively. Host risk factors such as types of animal, breed, age, nutritional status and environmental risk factors such as seasons, presence of ectoparasites were investigated for the possible association with frequency of blood parasitic diseases, of the risk factors investigated; nutritional status was very nearly significant.

As a part of fulfilling their objectives through their customer JBL offers the following accounts: Current Deposits, Savings Bank Deposits, Fixed Deposits,Short Term Deposits, Monthly Term Deposits, Any other deposits as may be approved/ advised by Head Office.In General Banking, Clearing department receives cheques, DD, P.O. Etc from depositors attached with a deposit slip. The branches of the bank operate as independent accounting unit. They submit statement of affairs and other prescribed returns direct to Head Office where these are consolidated in the form of a statement showing assets and liabilities of whole Bank as at the close of business on Thursday and at the last working day of each month. The system of transactions of the bank is essentially double entry system of book keeping. But for quick and accurate recording as well as for arriving at daily financial position specialized form of double entry system book keeping, named slip system under self‐balancing method is followed by the bank. The golden principle of debiting or crediting is the same as those of double entry system. In the bank, instead of recording transactions in a journal initially, these are directly recorded and posted in the ledger (computer) separating the debits and credits by slips or voucher system. Foreign exchange is an important department of Jamuna Bank Limited, which deals with import, export and foreign remittances. It bridges between importers and exporters. This department is playing an important role in enhancing export earnings, which aids economic growth and inturn it helps for the economic development. On the other hand, it also helps to meet those goods and service, which are most demandable and not adequate in our country.
PRODUCTIVE AND REPRODUCTIVE PERFORMANCE OF HUBBARD CLASSIC AND HYBRO PG+ PARENT STOCK UNDER TWO DIFFERENT FARMS

The study was conducted in two different breeder farms from 13th June to 4th August 2009, (BRAC Poultry Farm & Hatchery Project, Mirzapur ,Sherpur,Bogra and Nahar Agro Complex Ltd. Mirshari, CTG.) for study the productive and reproductive performance of Hubbard Classic and Hybro PG+ broiler parent stock. The results of this study reveals that the variation of productive and reproductive performance in two parent stock is statistically non significant. The average egg production percentage 73.18±17.039(%),67.38±17.65(%), hatchability percentage73.18 ± 17.03(%), 67.38 ± 17.65(%), average feed intake( female) 151.41 ± 8.10, 150.83 ± 9.88,(male) 130.17±4.44, 143.86±4.20 and average live weight (female) male) 3434.83±242, 3481.38±206.55 and (male) 4201.55±267.87,4237.24±763.63 for Hubbard Classic and Hybro PG+, respectively. In BRAC Poultry Project and Nahar Agro Complex Although a little difference in different parameter were found in two farms due to managemental difference (vaccination, medication, lighting, etc.) which however was statistically non significant. Therefore, it may be inferred that, Hubbard Classic and Hybro PG+ performed well in both breeder farms in environmental control housing system
