Environment Management using IoT Based Cost effective, Secured, Smart Sewerage and Air Pollution Monitoring System
(Daffodil International University, 2019-09-27) Oyshi, Marzan Tasnim
Environment is being badly effected in these days and human are responsible for this. Unplanned urbanization is one of the basic cause of environment pollution and uncountable hassles. The city life in Dhaka gets stuck in the rainy season. Sill countless people are dying for toxic gases while cleaning the underground tunnel for not having any safety kit. Living in a polluted area, breathing toxic gases are the causes to increase deadly diseases like cancer and many more. This research proposes a novel method of real time sewerage monitoring service to determine upcoming blockage with a view to prevent waterlog even before it occurs, a safety kit for underground tunnel workers to detect the inside environment to reduce the death due to toxic gases, air pollution controlling system to detect the amount of emitted toxic gases by specific industry, notify the ministry to take proper steps if the emission keep crossing the threshold. This research also proposes a security model for data security using block chain technology for futerwork and finally proposes the business model for the cost effective solution.

IoT Security Issues and Possible Solution Using Blockchain Technology
(Springer, 2021) Oyshi, Marzan Tasnim; Bonny, Moushumi Zaman; Saha, Susmita; Tumpa, Zerin Nasrin
The world is moving along with the technical advancement where smart home and smart cities are creating smart lifestyle and Internet of things (IoT) is being one of the most popular technologies in this decade. IoT is making life better by connecting devices and producing billions of data. But for the heterogeneous connectivity, smaller size, memory, storage and less security measurement, it is easy to hack and manipulate the IoT devices. To have a safe and secured connection, it is a must to ensure the data security in IoT too. This research proposes a novel method to secure the IoT devices using blockchain technology.

IoT-Based Air Pollution Controlling System for Garments Industry
(Springer, 2021) Oyshi, Marzan Tasnim; Bonny, Moushumi Zaman; Zaki, Syed Ahmed; Saha, Susmita
Environment is changing dramatically due to global warming and environment pollution and leading the next generation toward a vulnerable future. Air pollution is one of the key factors of the unstable environment around the globe. Garment industry is playing one of the major roles causing air pollution. Internet of Things (IoT) is enabling the communication of real-life objects and engendering incipient opportunities for the betterment of human. In this research, a novel method of air pollution controlling system for garments industry has been proposed using IoT technology in the context of Bangladesh. The research will avail to assist the government of Bangladesh for the identification of industries who are emitting extortionate toxic gases, fine them, and use the collected money for a green and development world.

Text Extraction through Video Lip Reading Using Deep Learning
(Scopus, 2020) Chowdhury, S.M. Mazharul Hoque; Rahman, Mushfiqur; Oyshi, Marzan Tasnim; Hasan, Md. Arid
Automated text extraction from video data through lip reading can overcome the language barrier and open the door of opportunities in terms of security, connectivity and physical challenges. The conversion is possible by analyzing facial expression using deep learning method. But this conversion is a challenging task due to the varieties of pronunciation and accents of the same word causing different countenance. In this research, a method of converting video data to text data through lip reading has been proposed. The proposed method includes test dataset, image frame analysis and having text output from identified words. In the proposed technique, the test dataset will be organized by combining all the possible facial expressions of different words.
