An Investigation of SHG Response from the CNT/Peptide Interface as a Function of Variant Peptide Concentrations and Tunable Wavelengths by Using a Monochromator
(Journal of Materials Physics and Chemistry, SciEP, 2021-08-04) Haque, Md. Ehasanul; Akter, Munaly; Sattar, Md. Abdus; Hoque, Md. Asadul; Matin, Md. Abdul
The carbon nanotubes (CNT) was fabricated on the Si/SiO2/Co substrate by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. After that, we dropped variant concentrations of peptide molecules on the CNT surface and measured the SHG intensity from the CNT/PEP interface. We found that the SHG intensity was maximum for all concentrations of peptide molecules at 532 nm when we tuned the wavelength manually by using monochromator. At the fixed SHG wavelength, the intensity was increased with the increase of peptide concentrations. This is because of the availability of the different types of C-bonds may produce chiral structure. This chirality behavior could be the reason for the generation of SHG signal with the increase of peptides concentrations on the CNT surface.

Comments on information erasure in black hole
(© 2014 World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte Ltd, 2014) Alvi, Mishkat Al; Matin, Md. Abdul; Rahat, Moinul Hossain; Roy, Avik; Majumdar, Mahbub
We analyze the Kim, Lee and Lee model of information erasure by black holes and find contradictions with standard physical laws. We demonstrate that the erasure model leads to arbitrarily fast information erasure; the proposed physical interpretation of information freezing at the event horizon as observed by an asymptotic observer is problematic; and information erasure, whatever the process may be, near the black hole horizon leads to contradictions with quantum mechanics if Landauer's principle is assumed. The later part of the work demonstrates the significance of the "erasure entropy". We show that the erasure entropy is the mutual information between two subsystems.

General banking activities of the City Bank Limited
(BRAC University, 9/9/2017) Matin, Md. Abdul; Chowdhury, Suman Paul
In this report, I have tried to show numerous general activities of The City Bank Limited and tried to find the lacking among these activities. I have also shown the impact of these activities on the bank’s profitability. A general activity of the bank means day to day activities or day to day operations of every section which offer integrated banking service. Satisfactory banking service is a combination of all general banking activities. General Banking consists of the management of deposit, cash, clearing house, bills, account opening, security instrument handling, customer service, locker facilities and other services of the bank besides Advance and Foreign Trade. Now brief history of The City Bank Limited, CBL founded on1983 by the all rules and regulation of company act 1912 amendment on 1994 along withBangladesh Bank BRPD (Baking Regulation and Policy Department) policies. In the early ageCBL was controlled by the Phoenix Group Bangladesh, Later on Partex BD take over the controlin 2007. From that time CBL has changed his own operation. From 2007 CBL advancement wasstarted with new Managing Director Mr. K. M. Sattar and his newly created managementcommittee. And then with all others CBL common service division was upgrade to generaladmin division for support all other division and departments, but in the few years MANCOMhave decided to fully furnish the general admin with global standard security system and advanceadministration policies.General Banking Department is considered as the direct customer service center. It is the starting point of all the banking operation. It opens new accounts, remits funds, honor cheque, takes deposits, issues bank draft and pay order etc. General Banking is also known as retail banking. The major activities are account opening section, clearing section, cash section remittance, mail receive and dispatch section. In this report, I have discussed different types of accounts and the procedures of account opening. I have also shown the features of different accounts and different products of the City Bank Ltd. such as city touch. I have also discussed the clearing section of the bank and procedures of outward and inward clearing. In this report I have stated the process of transmission of money from one place to another. The City Bank Ltd. has a great role in online banking nowadays

Study of Climate Variability and Agriculture Drought in Bangladesh
(University of Rajshahi, 2013) Matin, Md. Abdul; Rahman, M. Sayedur; Hossain, Md. Ripter
The climate plays significant role in the agriculture of a country. Rainfall is the most important climate parameter affecting non-irrigated crop areas for Rangpur, Faridpur and Mymensingh. Water deficits and excess water are the greatest constraints for rain fed rice yields in this region. The daily rainfall data for 30 years during the period 1981-2010 of the station Rangpur, Faridpur and Mymensingh districts are considered in this study. This study also considered weekly rainfall for 5 mm and 10 mm. The daily data were reduced in the weekly form and the drought index has been calculated using the probability of Markov chain model and goodness of fit using chi-square test. Drought is temporary but complex feature of the climate system. Agriculture drought is mainly concerned with inadequacy of rainfall. Markov chain model have been used to evaluate probabilities of getting a sequence of wet-dry weeks over this region. An index best on the parameters of this model has been suggested for agriculture drought measurement in this region. The results indicate that the Rangpur, Faridpur and Mymensingh districts are as follows: For Drought Index of Rainfall 5 mm and 10 mm in Rangpur District: the results indicate that the Rangpur region were found the mild drought in Annual, the occasionally drought in pre-kharif and kharif season, and the chronic drought Proneness in Rabi season. For Drought Index Rainfall 5 mm and 10 mm in Faridpur District: the Faridpur region were found the occasionally drought in Annual, pre-kharif and kharif season, and the chronic drought Proneness in Rabi season. For Drought Index Rainfall 5 mm and 10 mm in Mymensingh District: the results indicate that the region were found the mild drought in Annual, the occasionally drought in pre-kharif and kharif season, and the chronic drought Proneness in Rabi season. This study will be constructive to agricultural planners and irrigation engineers to identifying there as where agricultural development should be focused as a long –term drought improvement strategy. The level of drought proneness helps the early detection of agricultural drought and the crop production that is useful for talking timely release and remedy measures and other decisions by several organization of Bangladesh. It will also contribute toward a better understanding of the climatology of drought in major monsoon region of the world.
