How e-business is working during COVID19 pandemic
(BRAC University, 2022-01) Mahmud, Md. Ashik; Akhter, Rahma
The largest Halal Certified brand is LAFZ. The umbrella company is Believe Pte. Ltd., and LAFZ is one of the four brands. Zayn & Myza, Dr. Rhazes, and Zayn & Myza Labs are the other brands. This report describes my job responsibilities at LAFZ. I have also included an overview from the beginning to the present as well as the company's condition throughout the pandemic, and the various strategies that assisted LAFZ to survive. I used mostly primary data and just a few secondary data in this report. The SWOT analysis and Porter's Five Forces assisted me to understand what is in favor of the company and what is not. The purpose of this report is to prepare a long-term goal, service compliance and adherence rate, and the company's future market demand while the other specific goals are to find out the factors affecting the overall working environment.

Performance analysis of dye sensitized solar cell based on ZnO compact layer and TiO2 Photoanode
(BRAC University, 2018-09) Rahman, Abdur; Mahmud, Md. Ashik; Haque, Md. Injamamul; Bhuian, Md. Belal Hossain
Harnessing solar energy as an alternative solution to power production. Power can be produced through burning fossil fuels. To gain optimum benefit through solar energy is an extreme challenge for scientists and researchers nowadays. Solar power generation is consistently improving through the decades and third generation dye sensitized solar cell can play an important role as a solution. Dye sensitized solar cell approaches to high efficient thin film technology. Efficiency can be increased by adding more cells of different band gap to a cell stack in Tandem cell. In this ongoing study, a double layer structured dye sensitized solar cell has analyzed where ZnO and TiO2 composited photoanode were prepared on FTO. The Photovoltaic characteristics, I-V & J-V curve were evaluated for different thickness, absorption coefficient and wavelength. DSSC solar cell characterization techniques such as current-voltage and spectral response measurements were analyzed to evaluate the cell performance.

Power Generation, Transmission and Protection System Equipments of Mymensingh Power Station (MPS)
(East West University, 1/29/2012) Chowdhury, Md. Shoel Rana; Hossain, Md. Nafiz; Mahmud, Md. Ashik
Power is one of the most vital sectors for the growth of country's economy. As a developing country, the significance of power is enormous. Rural development is directly correlated to rural electrification in Bangladesh. Socioeconomic development in rural areas causing the increasing demands of electricity day by day. With the growing use of power based industries in agriculture, small & cottage industries, the stable supply of power both in urban and rural areas in the country has become the demand ofthe time. With the appearance of market economy, the demand of stable supply of power has become more and more important for trade, commerce, industry and agriculture for success of overall development of the country and alleviation of poverty. Government of Bangladesh has been implementing the concept of privatization in power sector since last decade. Mymensingh Power Station (MPS) is one of these pilot projects launched in private power generation project. Accordingly a public limited company named Rural Power Company Limited was formed and registered on 1994 by active participation of Rural Electrification Board (REB). OUT internship in Mymensingh Power Station, Rural power Company Limited (RPCL), helped us to learn the generation and distribution power practically. During this internship we got the opportunity work as a member of a team in combine cycle power plant. The generation of electricity is one of the most muhifunctional processes in the world. During the internship period we gathered practical experience in substation, switchgear, transmission and protection of the electricity and the overall control of the power generation system.

Security System Using Face Recognition for Diu Hall
(©Daffodil International University, 2022-01-13) Al-Amin, Md.; Mahmud, Md. Ashik; Baral, Mridul
Face recognition technology is gaining popularity around the world these days for delivering highly safe and trustworthy security technology. Because of its high level of security and reliability, it is gaining major importance and attention from hundreds of private and institutional organizations. This type of security system will be more beneficial if it is connected on CCTV. Our proposed approach is to develop a face recognition security system for organizations such as university halls. By using our system we can track unknown and known people .We can also track unknown people activity. Our software will examine the information and compare it to a database of trusted individuals. When someone walks in front of the camera, our system logs the time and date on an excel sheet.
