    A Survey on Dimensionality Reduction Techniques for Time-series Data

    Data analysis in modern times involves working with large volumes of data, including timeseries data. This type of data is characterized by its high dimensionality, enormous volume, and the presence of both noise and redundant features. However, the "curse of dimensionality" often causes issues for learning approaches, which can fail to capture the temporal dependencies present in time-series data. To address this problem, it is essential to reduce dimensionality while preserving the intrinsic properties of temporal dependencies. This will help to avoid lower learning and predictive performances. This study presents twelve different dimensionality reduction algorithms that are specifically suited for working with timeseries data and fall into different categories, such as supervision, linearity, time and memory complexity, hyper-parameters, and drawbacks.

    AEROBIC CO-COMPOSTING OF AGRO-INDUSTRIAL AND MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE

    A pilot scale experiment was carried out to minimize the problems of municipal waste (such as urban kitchen wastes-KW, tea waste-TW, eggshell-ES) and agroindustrial waste (such as poultry litter-PL, rice husk-RH, and saw dust-SD). Six square shaped bins with dimensions 0.95 m long 0.93 m wide and 0.83 m height (total volume of 0.733 m3 ) were used. The study was carried out in the research field of the Department of Crop Physiology and Ecology, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology Dinajpur, Bangladesh. To observe the composting process and assess the compost quality, some physicochemical parameters (temperature, moisture content, electrical conductivity, organic matter, volatile solids, total solid, total organic carbon, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, potassium etc.) were measured at different phases of composting. The duration of composting period was 80-85 days. Physicochemical characteristics of the final product were Carbon and Nitrogen ratio:15.37-18.66%, Germination index: 110.89-137.77%, Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen: 1.38-1.43%, Organic Matter: 37.92-44.426%, Total Organic Carbon: 21.99-25.76%, Electrical Conductivity: 2713-3788 ppm and pH: 7.96-9.09). Municipal wastes were used in higher ratios (KW: RH: TW: PL: ES: SD=50:10:10:10:10:10) produce good quality compost. Moisture also played an important role in temperature evolution during composting. Based on experimental results, the problem of agro-industrial and municipal waste could be minimized by aerobic composting and it can be used in crop production. Nevertheless, composting duration and co-composting materials and their ratios are crucial factors that determine the quality of the final product. A full-scale compost unit could be designed based on the experimental results. Therefore, an urban area consisting of 500-600 families requires about 10-12 m 2 area to compost the entire annual kitchen wastes production.

    AliExpress Shopping BD: A smart solution for buying products from AliExpress with BDT

    Our project "AliExpress Shopping BD" is an online based solution to purchase products from AliExpress.com and bringing them to Bangladesh. It designed as an extension of Google Chrome to make the way easy for users. Here, it's not an easy way to order products and pay them in international currency from our country. So, it was very essential to solving this issue with technical and business knowledge. There are some services like this but they are not sufficient. The uniqueness is there is no one in this country for bringing products from AliExpress.com Then we come up with "AliExpress Shopping BD". Users need to install the extension on the Chrome Browser then register. Now, they can browse www.aliexpress.com and see a new cart. After adding to cart user will pay us in BDT. Then we will pay USD to AliExpress. We provide the user a confirmation and tracking id and deliver the item after reaching it in Bangladesh. This system is flexible, easy and user-friendly for everyone. We have developed this by using languages like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript. Moreover, PHP, MYSQL is used for handling the database. After completing this project we tested this with a community based on Facebook and it worked great and people are eagerly expecting this services.

    PATHOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION AND VACCINE EFFICACY OF INFECTIOUS BURSAL DISEASE IN COCKREL AT COMILLA DISTRICT

    The aim of the present study was pathological investigation and vaccine efficacy of Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) in cockrel at Comilla district. A total 15 different cockrel farms were selected from different area of Comilla district from December-2013 to June 2014. Among them 5 were selected for pathological study while 10 farms were selected for the effectiveness of IBD vaccine. The affected birds showed dullness, depressions, anorexia, ruffled feathers, reluctance to move, trembling, prostration followed by death. There was whitish diarrhoea in the affected birds. In gross study, there were severe haemorrhages on leg, thigh and pectoral muscles. Haemorrhages were also found at the junction of proventriculus and gizzard. All the flocks revealed lesions in the Bursa of fabricius. The Bursa were found turgid, edematous swollen and haemorrhagic. In addition there were congested or pale carcasses, swollen kidneys with prominent tubules and enlarged or congested liver noticed during postmortem examination of the cockrel. There was excess mucous in intestines. For histopathological study tissue were collected from Bursa of fabricious and junction of proventriculus and gizzard of necropsed birds using common surgical materials. The lesions of bursa of fabricious were characterized by atrophy, lymphocytic depletion and an increase in the thickness of septae of interfollicular tissue. In severe cases lesions of Bursa of Fabricius showed fatty degeneration in the bursal follicle, edema between bursal follicles, necrotic and degenerative changes etc. Necrosis was observed in the bursal follicle. In addition, vacuolation and cyst-like structures were also found. For the study of vaccine efficacy, two types of vaccine (Intermediate and Intermediate plus) from two different renowned company Novarties and Intervet were used. Mortality were 6.33%, 3.5% and 6.0% in farm-3, farm-5 and farm-6 respectively in post vaccination.

    SMART WALKING STICK FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE

    The smart walking stick based on ultrasonic sensors and Arduino for visually impaired people. There are approximately 37 million people across the globe who are blind according to the World Health Organization. People with visual disabilities are often dependent on external assistance which can be provided by humans, trained dogs, or special electronic devices as support systems for decision making. Thus, we were motivated to develop a smart white cane to overcome these limitations. We accomplished this goal by adding ultrasonic sensors at specific positions to the cane that provided information about the environment to the user by activating the buzzer sound. We proposed low cost and light weight system designed with microcontroller that processes signal and alerts the visually impaired person over any obstacle, water or dark areas through beeping sounds. The system consists of obstacle and moisture detection sensors for receiving, processing and sending signals to the alarm system which finally alerts the user for prompt action. The system was designed, programmed using C language and tested for accuracy and checked by the visually impaired person. Our device can detect obstacles within the distance of about 25cm and 10cm from the user. This paper describes the working of a Blind Stick based on a microcontroller ATmega328 (Arduino Uno). Most monitoring systems that are in use in the present world works in disconnected mode yet our framework is planned with the end goal that a patient can be checked remotely progressively. Shrewd stick for visually impaired man is a machine that can pursue a way. The way can be unmistakable like a dark line on a white surface (or the other way around) or it very well may be undetectable like an attractive field. Detecting a line and moving the robot to remain on course, while always redressing incorrectly moves utilizing criticism component frames a basic yet compelling shut circle framework. As a software engineer you inspire a chance to 'educate' the robot how to pursue the line consequently giving it a human-like property of reacting to improvements.

    STUDY ON GYNAECO-PATHOLOGICAL DISORDERS AND ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF MICRO-ORGANISMS FROM THE UTERINE DISCHARGES OF COW

    Cattle are one of the important domesticated animals and easily reared. The local breed of cattle (Bos indicus) can easily survive in our environment but the foreign breed (Bos taurus) rearing needed so much carefully. Now a day the people of Dinajpur Districts rearing crossbreed cattle which are rearing for both meat and milk purposes. The crossbreed animal infertility problem was high so the farmer culling the animal from their herd and which were slaughtered in the slaughter house in Sadar Thana.This is the first study describing the infertility problem in Dinajpur Districts and is aimed to identify the causes of infertility problem and improve fertility to solving the animal protein requirement as per capital needed. During the period of April/2009 to March/2010, a total of three hundred ten (310) female genital tracts were collected from the Dinajpur Sadar Thana slaughter house. During postmortem examination 199(64.19%) genital tracts pathologically disordered and 73(23.55%) pregnant were found. The most common uterine lesion was endrometritis (31.29%) followed by cystic ovary (8.37%), hyperplasia of ovary (6.77%), pyometra (4.84%), parovarian cyst (4.84%), hydrometra (4.52%), hypoplasia of ovary(4.19%), ovarobursal adhesion(3.55%), vaginal cyst(1.29%) and Haemmorage in uterine in horn (0.66%).Histopathological examination was carried out and found destraction of endometrium which is characterized by huge infilteration of reactive cells, destraction of some uterine gland, in pyometra case presence of neotrophil, presence of protenacious mass in oedematous uterus and ovary, in cystic ovary characterized by the cyst wall appeared to be flattened that might have resulted from pressure exerted by the cysts. In bacteriological examination,50 uterine fluid cultured and found that 30% infected by Escherichi coli and 8% infected by Salmonella spp.
