    Detection of Copy–Move Image Forgery Applying Robust Matching with K-D Tree Sorting

    Digital images contribute significantly to the field of visualization. Using stronger technology, digital image forgery is easier. The most common method of image forgery is to re-create a portion of a person’s location or to conceal a portion of an image. In our paper, we worked on detecting region duplication forgery using COMOFORD databases by utilizing the discrete cosine transform (DCT), k-dimensional tree (k-d tree) for sorting efficiently, and a robust matching method. Here, the size of the block will be 16 × 16, and it will be divided into four blocks. This study can detect forged portions for PNG images with better performance by highlighting the images with a quality factor of 0.5 and a threshold value of 10, as well as gives good results for JPEG images.

    Effect of Shade Depth on Lea Strength, Weight Loss and Wash Fastness Properties of Reactive Dyed Cotton Yarn

    Analysis of the change in lea strength, weight loss percentage and wash fastness properties of 100 percent cotton reactive dyed yarn with various shade depth (1% to 4%) is carried out to represent correlation between the specified yarn properties with shade depth change in two different yarn counts. It is observed that increase in shade depth increases the yarn lea strength but shows a decreasing rate in wash fastness and weight loss (%). Finer yarn shows wash fastness rating of 4/5 whereas coarser yarn shows higher value in weight loss (%) and yarn lea strength.

    Micropropagation of environmental stress tolerant local potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) varieties of Bangladesh

    In vitro response of four explants namely, leaf, shoot apex, nodal and internodal, in three stress tolerant Bangladeshi potato varieties, viz. Zaubilati, Shadaguti and Challisha were tested. Of all the varieties, Shadaguti responded best for all the explants. Among the explants nodal segment responded best, followed by shoot apex. For all these explants and varieties, shoot regeneration response was tested in response to two cytokines, BAP and Kn. When compared between BAP and Kn supplementation, Kn treatment performed better than that of BAP for nodal and shoot apex, while opposite was observed for remaining explants. Interestingly, hormone free basal PROP medium was found to be best for nodal explants of both Zaubilati and Challisha varieties. While nodal explants of Shadaguti showed the best result in 0.5 mg/l Kn. Shoot apex performed best in 0.5 mg/l Kn for all the varieties. As an explant both internode and leaf did not perform well. Direct regeneration from these explants was found best in PROP + 0.2 mg/l GA3 + 0.5 mg/l IAA; 1.0 mg/l BAP, 1.5 mg/l BAP and 2.0 mg/l BAP for Zaubilai, Challisha and Shadaguti, respectively. For rooting, of the in vitro grown shoots half strength of PROP medium supplemented with 0.5 mg/l IBA was found to be best. Cent percent survival of transplanted plantlets was recorded. The successful protocol for in vitro regeneration was developed which can be used for large scale production of these abiotic stress tolerant potato varieties.

    Study on the Dyeing Performances of Jute Fabrics Dyed with Extracted Natural Dyes from Jackfruit Leaf and Teak Leaf

    Firstly, used hydrogen peroxide in traditional method for Scouring and bleaching process. Then for grey jute fabrics are dyed by individually natural colors which was extracted from jackfruit and teak leaves. After that, lighter shade is being obtained without any adding mordant and then observed that amount of dye taking up being increased with increasing percentage of mordant. The color output was enhanced by mordanting potash Alum. We know small entrepreneurs’ craftsmen are very much interested to make some aesthetic products by jute fibre and fabric as since as those are being lucrative in small cottage, nest, sandal etc. by jute fibre and fabric. So here color fastness is much necessary and color fastness work are compared between teak leafs and jackfruits leafs.
