    An Investigative Approach To Employ Different Machine Learning Algorithms in Detecting Brain Cancer

    This thesis takes an exploratory method to investigate the performance of several machine learning algorithms in more accurately detecting brain tumors. It primarily accomplishes this by detecting both malignant and benign lesions in the brain. In recent years, brain cancer has been linked to the highest newborn cancer fatality rates worldwide. Various machine learning techniques have been shown to be an excellent tool for detecting brain while it is still in its early stages. To train and test the model classifier, a dataset containing 700 instances and 1500 features from the Kaggle Data repository was used. Thirteen Eleven machine learning algorithms were studied and their performance parameters like confusion matrix and accuracy were analyzed. Furthermore, a thorough comparison was carried out through the compuration of precision, sensitivity, F1 score, recall, specificity, cross validation score and error rate of each algorithm.

    Business development and branding practices of Agrani DOER Banking

    Bangladesh, the country of immense potentiality is a developing country located in the Southeast-Asia. Every year the size of the economy of this country is growing up with the help of the proper utilization of resources. In this report attempt has been made to portray an analysis regarding how the unbanked people are suffering for not getting the core services of Bank. The important fact is these people can contribute in a huge way in the economy of a country by taking the core banking service of a bank. Due to that DOER services limited has come up with an idea to bring the unbanked people under banked people. Keeping this thing in head DOER Services Limited has brought the project with a name Agrani DOER Banking. To bring a meaningful insight regarding the business development strategies and the Branding practices of Agrani DOER banking, I have brought some points in the project part of this report. In this report I have described the whole process of Agrani DOER Agent banking. In conclusion it is found that, though Agrani DOER banking unbanked people will be able to involve in the banking activities in a easy way with full security. So to enhance the performance of Agrani DOER Banking as par its prospective, recommendations are stated at the end to draw the conclusion of the project. Apart from the project work this report also consists of two other sections; organizational overview and description of the job during the attachment of 12 weeks. In the very beginning of the report information regarding the attached institution has been portrayed and in my case it was about Agrani DOER Banking. Inception of that section has been marked by history of the company. In the next section product and service offerings have been mentioned followed by the operational coverage and organogram of this banking financial institution. Then to mark the end; vision, mission and code of conduct of the company have been stated. In the second part titled job description, explanation has been given about the work I was designated to do during my time at DOER Services Limited. Then my daily job responsibilities are stated in time of my internship. After that varied aspects of the job and its relation to the knowledge I have gathered through the curriculum in the university have been portrayed. Then an explanation is given accompanied by recommendation about the issues Agrani DOER Banking can contemplate on for efficient and better management of their work.

    Effective Data Routing in Delay Tolerant Network Using Game Theory

    This paper explores the theoretical approach to improve existing Delay and Disruption Tolerant Networking routing algorithms using Game Theory. Game Theory is a systematic study of strategic interaction among rational individuals. DTN deals with networks in challenged environment. DTN focuses on deep space to a broader class of heterogeneous networks that may suffer disruptions, affected by design decisions such as naming and addressing, message formats, data encoding methods, routing, congestion management and security. DTN is part of the Inter Planetary Internet with primary application being deep space networks. The hypothesis behind modeling DTN routing as a game is based on understanding that routing is also a strategic interaction between the DTN nodes. This brings cognitive abilities leading to automated routing decisions.

Finishing process is depending on buyer’s requirement. Quality represents company reputation and buyer satisfaction. So every industry tries to produce good quality of product. This report giving idea about spinning fault, knitting fault, dyeing fault, finishing fault, sewing fault and how to minimize or solution garments defect. It also helped to know how to find out defects and how to rectify this in efficient way. Overall this report will be helped for producing good quality knit garments.

    GROWTH, PRODUCTIVITY, PIGMENTS AND OXIMATE COMPOSITION OF INDIGENOUS MARINE MICROALGAE ISOLATED FROM COX’S BAZAR COAST

    Microalgal biomass has been widely reported as great source of feed, food, biodiesel, and pigments. Suitable microalgae species for particular industrial application are selected on the basis of its growth rates, productivity, and adaptability to the laboratory conditions, pigments concentrations, and proximate profiles. Understanding the growth pattern of microalgae is crucial because it is the primary steps for any kind of operational procedure mostly biomass extractions. Present study focused on four different indigenous microalgae species (Chlorella sp., Chaetoceros sp., Nannochloropsis sp., and Tetraselmis sp.) to determine their growth, productivity, pigments and proximate composition. Experimental species were collected from previously preserved sample (isolated from Cox’s Bazar coast) of Department of Aquaculture, Faculty of Fisheries, Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Selected species were cultured in commercial Conway culture medium. Biomass was harvested at their stationary phase for each species for further analysis. Result indicated distinct growth phase for each species in terms of cell density and optical density which were significant at 1% level of significance. In addition, Chaetoceros sp. showed significantly (p < 0.05) higher volumetric productivity (0.61 ± 0.08 mg/L/Day), areal productivity (1.2 ± 0.17 mg/cm2/Day), and lipid productivity (0.109 ± 0.003 mg/L/Day) compare to Chlorella sp., Nannochloropsis sp., and Tetraselmis sp. On the other hand, Tetraselmis sp. produced significantly highest amount of chlorophyll a and b (2.68 ± 0.04 μg/L, 1.23 ± 0.02 μg/L) where Chaetoceros sp. produced (0.29 ± 0.01 μg/L) highest amount in case of chlorophyll c. Moreover, in case of carotenoids Nannochloropsis sp. content (1.68 ± 0.05 μg/mL) significantly (p < 0.05) higher amount compares to Tetraselmis sp. (1.51 ± 0.14 μg/mL), Chaetoceros sp. (1.36 ± 0.2 μg/mL), and Chlorella sp. (0.56 ± 0.03 μg/mL). In addition, allophycocyanin reported highest amount in all the four species rather than phycocyanin and phycoerythrin. However, Nannochloropsis sp. content significantly (p < 0.05) higher amount of phycobiliproteins than other three species (Tetraselmis sp., Chlorella sp., and Chaetoceros sp.). Besides, the results of proximate composition in this study showed that, Tetraselmis sp. content significantly (p < 0.05) higher amount of protein (57 ± 0.66% dry weight), Nannochloropsis sp. content significantly (p < 0.05) higher amount of lipid (25 ± 1.84% dry weight), whereas Chlorella sp. content significantly (p < 0.05) higher amount of carbohydrate (23 ± 1.62% dry weight) among all other XIII species. For the production of valuable biomass quality microalgae are potential candidates because of their easy culture system, and capability to grow in low cost media. In that way the production cost and contamination risk also decrease. Therefore, proper selection of microalgae’ species through proper characterization is necessary for various industries.

    In vitro sensitivity study of Zoxanide against clinical isolates of Entamoeba histolytica.

    Amebiasis is a very common disease allover the world. Almost 10% people of the world suffer from amoebiasis. Poverty, ignorance, overcrowding, poor sanitation and malnutrition favor transmission and increased disease burden. Entamoeba histolytica is the etiological agent of amoebic dysentery and amoebic liver abscess. The objective of this study was to find out the in vitro sensitivity of Nitazoxanide against clinical isolates of Entamoeba histolytica. Entamoeba histoiytica isolates were collected from the stool and then cultured in different culture medium. Zoxanide was prepared in different concentrations of 4.6, 2.3 ,1.15 , 0.575 , 0.287 ,0.143 and 0.07187 J.1M using the Dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) solvent. They were incubated for 24 hours at 37°C. After incubation the isolates of viable Entamoeba histoiytica were counted. The viable counts of the Entamoeba histolytica in each concentration of Zoxanide were compared to the initial concentration as well as the control. As the concentrations of Nitazoxanide decreases (4.6, 2.3, 1.15, 0.575, 0.287, 0.143 and 0.07187 flM), the inhibitory activity of Zoxanide was also found to be decreased. Further studies are needed to check the efficacy of other brands ofNitazoxanide.
