Abir; Siddiqee, Mahbubul HasanACB complex, a major concern in hospitals, particularly in intensive care unit (ICU), causes nosocomial infections & is multidrug-resistant (MDR), making infection management practices more challenging. (Acb) complex consists of four species. Infection with different (Acb) complex species may result in different risk factors and clinical consequences because these nosocomial pathogens species vary in terms of pathological and biological characteristics and for this accurate identification of species is necessary. It is quite challenging to accurately differentiate between various Acinetobacter species through biochemical tests and automated techniques like MALDI-TOF MS. A. baumannii is the most clinically significant species among the (Acb) complex, accounting for 80% of infections. Utilization of blaOXA-51 gene through RT-PCR for molecular identification of A. baumannii proves to be significantly more accurate and reliable than conventional and automated methods. A. baumannii has emerged as a notorious pathogen in recent decades. It has been associated with a rise in health issues and healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) that are difficult to treat with antibiotics. In this study, nine different sentinel surveillance sites were selected to collect isolates. Isolates were taken in consideration from the year of 2017 to the month of May of 2023 to figure out the prevalence. In total, 133 clinical (Acb) complex isolates were taken as suspected A. baumannii in which 82 isolates were identified as A. baumannii by detecting the blaOXA-51 gene through RT-PCR. Antibiotic susceptibility test (AST) was performed for the identified A. baumannii isolates through 12 antibiotics from the 7 antimicrobial agent groups of Acinetobacter spp. panel of CLSI 2022. Results showed that highest rate (79%) of resistant isolates were seen against Ceftazidime & highest rate (84%) of sensitive isolates were seen against Tigecycline. Fifty isolates (61%) and fifteen isolates (18%) were found to be MDR & suspected XDR.Item Identification of IoT vulnerabilities using DRL(BRAC University, 2020-10) Bordhen, Joy; Islam, Tarikul; Sakib, Tahmid Al; Joy, Tanvir Ahmed; Tasnim, Sara; Hossain, Muhammad IqbalSecurity issues have been a threat to our modern life even after all the inventions in modern data networks. It has come to a stage where with great innovation comes greater risk. Recently, security issues in IoT devices are increasing day by day with the vast uses of IoT devices in our everyday life. In today's world, the most valuable thing is information, the more information you possess the richer and more powerful one is. Due to the increase in use, the online attackers have been recently targeting IoT devices to gain monetary benefit or acquiring different sensitive information from the crucial sources. Maximum IoT devices are very simple to get hands on illegally. Since IoT devices are not well equipped with proper security measures in order to keep them easily accessible and low cost, the hackers are easily accessing these devices. However, computer and digital devices often appear to become more unstable and vulnerable to malfunctions and vulnerabilities due to cyber attacks. Also, this is economically harmful which is quite frustrating. Securing these have been quite an important issue for many years. Thus, to make sure the information is safe and to overcome these vulnerabilities different measures are taking place to minimize these attacks. Several surveys are put forward to address these IoT based topics including intrusion detection, threat minimization and prevention of these attacks. It is not possible for the users to keep track of the intrusion every time manually. So an autonomous security measure should be taken to prevent the intrusion. In order to do this we are using Deep Reinforcement Learning technique to detect this intrusion and prevent them with the existing data and model as it is highly efficient in tackling complex, diverse and, in particular defense of highextent cyber attacks. Reinforcement learning (RL) operates in a rotation of sense action goals. Since reinforcement learning acquires information directly from the environment, it is distinct from supervised learning that learns from the examples given. We are trying to detect and prevent malware attacks like viruses, ransomware and everything. For that, patterns need to be found by using deep learning or deep reinforcement learning algorithms. Furthermore, the system will be analyzing multiple attacks from systems that are already infected to do so and finally we will be coming up with a pattern created out of data analysis to prevent further attacks.Item Progress, Prospects and Challenges of MXene Integrated Optoelectronics Devices(EDP Sciences, 2024-01-02) Hossaın, Md. Khalid; Islam, Tanvir; Islam, TarikulIn recent years, functional antimicrobial fabric materials have been in high demand in the health sector due to the impact of COVID-19. Considering the increasing demand, the availability of natural, environmentally friendly, and non-toxic products is limited. In this study, a facile, eco-friendly method for the preparation of antimicrobial functional cotton fabric is proposed. At first, scoured and bleached cotton fabric is treated with chitosan, followed by encapsulation of lavender essential oil (LEO) with the addition of Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. (jackfruit) latex gum as a binder. For the encapsulation and optimization of LEO and jackfruit latex gum (JLG) performance, four variations of these material’s quantity were utilized. Among all the studied samples, we found that the most efficient inhibition of bacterial growth was induced in both gram-negative (Escherichia coli) and gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus) cultures. Among the samples, the chitosan-treated fabric with LEO and JLG added, named TG-5 (refers to LEO of 3 mL and JLG of 5 mL), showed the most impactful bacteria reduction. It demonstrates the most effective antibacterial reduction of 92.5% and 56.8% for E. coli and S. aureus bacterium cultures, respectively. The field emission scanning electron microscope illustrates and validates the morphology and addition of the prepared samples, while Fourier transform infrared is employed to identify the chemical bonding and chemical compounds of the functionalized materials. Therefore, the new combination of lavender oil and latex gum of jackfruit as an antimicrobial finishing agent can be the replacement of synthetic chemicals for cotton fabric functionalization in medical textiles.Item Sustainable Competitive Advantages (SCAs) in the Mobile Telecommunication Industry of Bangladesh: Analyzing Key Success Factors(CRP, International Islamic University Chittagong, 2007-08) Mollah, Muhammad Musharuf Hossain; Mowla, Mohammad Masrurul; Islam, TarikulThe world is shrinking rapidly with the advent of faster communication Bangladesh, albeit a developing country, is /lO exception from it. Copper-water nanofluid has been taken as default nanofluid. Different types of nanoparticles and base fluids have been considered to examine the better performance of heat transfer. The top circular wall is heated at low-temperature Tc while the bottom diameter is heated at high-temperature Th (Tc < Th). Moreover, different types of thermal boundary conditions are employed along the bottom diameter. The non-linear governing equations with boundary conditions have been transformed into dimensionless forms using a set of non-dimensional variables. The highly powerful partial differential equations solver finite element technique (FEM) of Galerkin weighted residual type has been employed for the numerical simulations in the present problem. The outcomes illustrate an excellent agreement with previously published research. The different physical model parameters such as Hartmann number, Rayleigh number, nanoparticles diameter, nanoparticles volume, size and shape, and Brownian motion of nano-sized particles have been investigated using streamline contours, isothermal lines, and heat transfer rate in terms of average Nusselt number. The outcomes show that the parameters mentioned above strongly affect the heat transport and flow field within the cavity. It is seen that heat transport rate enhances with the increase of the buoyancy driven parameter Rayleigh number and volume fraction of nanoparticles, decreasing with the higher magnetic effect. The different types of nanofluids have an influential role in heat transport and fluid flow. The heat transport rate increases 22.1% in water-based whereas 5.4% in engine oil-based nanofluid for 1% copper nanoparticles volume. The different thermal boundary conditions have an important impact in heat transport and fluid flow. The uniform thermal condition (case I) gives a better heat transfer rate than others (case II, III, IV, and V). The blade shape nanoparticles provide a higher heat transport rate than spherical, cylindrical, bricks, and platelets. The small size of nanoparticles conforms better heat transfer rate in the resent analysis. The non-uniform magnetic field and its period have a vital role in fluid flow and heat transport. The non-uniform periodic magnetic field provides a higher temperature transport rate than the uniform magnetic field. It is also seen that the average Nusselt number for kerosene-based nanofluid is higher than water-based, ethylene glycol-based, and engine oil-based nanofluids. The heat transport rate is observed at 67.86% for Cobalt (Co)-kerosene whereas 23.78% for Co-water, and 5.68% for Co-engine oil nanofluid with 1% nano-particles volume. In addition, The Brownian motion of nano-sized particles has a significant contribution on heat transfer. The rate of heat transfer increases 28.88% with the Brownian effect, whereas it increases only 3.01% without the Brownian effect. Therefore, the small size of nanoparticles with blade shape and Brownian motion at low Rayleigh number (Ra = 104) provides the best heat transport rate in the case of uniform thermal boundary conditions.
