The use of electronic medical systems can resolve many chronic inefficiencies and poor service common in developing countries. Implementation, legislation, and acceptance by practitioners are just some of the issues preventing the growth of medical record-keeping in Bangladesh. The outpatient department of hospitals in Bangladesh is usually insufficiently equipped and staff inadequately prepared to handle a large numbers of patients filing through per day. With these motivations, we investigated the current hand-written electronic medical record system in Bangladesh. We designed an automated medical record system to store, retrieve and process and share medical information in a computerized system.Item Adoption of Telemedicine Services during COVID-19: An Application of Extended Protection Motivation Theory (PMT).(2023-01) Rana Sohel, S M; Iqbal, MM; Islam, S; Anhar, S M; Khan, A RThe present study aims at exploring the factors influencing patients to adopt telemedicine services during the COVID-19 pandemic. The constructs of protection motivation theory (PMT) along with perceived patient empathy and perceived desirability (PD) have been used to investigate the telemedicine adoption behaviour. Data have been collected through a structured questionnaire survey from the people who used telemedicine services during the COVID-19 outbreak. Judgemental sampling is applied for selecting the respondents. Smart PLS software 2.0M3 has been used for analysing the data with partial least square structural equation modelling technique. The statistical findings reveal that perceived severity (PS) is the most important factor influencing the adoption of telemedicine services (ATS) during COVID-19 followed by perceived patient empathy (PPE), perceived vulnerability (PV) and self-efficacy (SE). The mediating effect test findings reveal that there exists partial mediation of PD in the relationship between PS and ATS; SE and ATS; and PPE and ATS. Mastitis was diagnosed by examining the udder and milk of 300 dairy cows. The bacteria were cultured and biochemical tests and antimicrobial profiling were done. The overall prevalence of mastitis was 5.0%, and cross-bred and local cows had 6.4% and 3.8%, respectively. The prevalence was higher in animals 7 - 8 years old (5.9%) and in cows of 3 rd - 4 parity (8.8%). Cows with peri-parturient diseases and 1 st - 2 nd th lactation had prevalence of 6.8% (P<0.05) and 5.7%, respectively. The prevalence in dry and wet seasons was 33.3% and 66.7% (P<0.10), respectively, and 53.3% of cows were affected with mastitis when the floor was wet and soiled. The prevalence was 73.3% (P<0.05) in unhygienic conditions. The prevalence of E. coli and S. aureus in mastitis milk samples was 73.3% and 66.7%, respectively. E. coli was sensitive to amoxicillin (36.4%), ampicillin (36.4%), tetracycline (54.6%), streptomycin and co-trimoxazole (81.8%), gentamicin & ceftriaxone (90.9%), cefuroxime and cefixime (100%). S. aureus was sensitive to co-trimoxazole (60%), tetracycline (70%), amoxicillin, ampicillin, streptomycin (80%), gentamicin, ceftriaxone (90%), cefuroxime and cefixime (100%). (Bang. vet. 2024. By interpolation, the surfaces of uniform visual depth at depths corresponding to the average of the ISO standard depths were determined. The algorithms developed enable the determination of the L* value that a colour of any hue or chroma should have in order for it to correspond to one of the standard depths
