A Low Complexity based Edge Color Matching Algorithm for Regular Bipartite Multigraph
(International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications (IJACSA), 2017) Karim, Rezaul; Islam, Rashedul; Rony, Muhammad Mahbub Hasan; Khaliluzzaman, Md.
An edge coloring of a graph G is a process of assigning colors to the adjacent edges so that the adjacent edges represents the different colors. In this paper, an algorithm is proposed to find the perfect color matching of the regular bipartite multigraph with low time complexity. For that, the proposed algorithm is divided into two procedures. In the first procedure, the possible circuits and bad edges are extracted from the regular bipartite graph. In the second procedure, the bad edges are rearranged to obtain the perfect color matching. The depth first search (DFS) algorithm is used in this paper for traversing the bipartite vertices to find the closed path, open path, incomplete components, and bad edges. By the proposed algorithm, the proper edge coloring of D – regular bipartite multi-graph can be obtained in O (D.V) time

Amar Shop an E-commerce Web-based Application
(Daffodil International University, 2022-01-22) Islam, Rashedul
Amar Shop is an online store application to sell goods. A web application is a very useful and required tool in today's environment, and it is growing more popular. During the COVID-19 crisis, customers are encouraged to buy online rather than in person due to health concerns, and the whole world is attempting to do business via the internet. As a result, we're working on creating a web application that will allow users to research products and make purchases. Customers may browse the whole inventory and read product details without the assistance of a salesperson. Through the usage of the Internet, the market will be able to be extended to a large geographic range. Events such as the various activities that are undertaken from time to time play an increasingly significant part in the development of any organization as online collaboration becomes more popular and the usage of information technology becomes more pervasive in many areas of our daily lives. The E-commerce Portal's primary function is to maintain track of product, customer, shipping, payment, and category data. It also has a few of additional objectives. It keeps track of every product, sales, category, and product information put into it. Because the project is completely developed at the administrative level, only the administrator has access to it. One of the project's goals is to design and construct an application program that will eliminate or minimize manual work in areas like product management, customer service, sales, and shipping. It keeps track of your shipping, payment, and category information.

Bangla Product Review Sentiment Analysis By ML & DL Approach
(Daffodil International University, 2024-07-13) Islam, Rashedul; Sadik, Sadman
In this age of internet technology, e-commerce and online marketing companies in Bangladesh were already doing well. As a result of the widespread quarantines caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, online shopping has surpassed all other methods as the preferred method of making purchases. As a result, Businesses were able to get online much more quickly. While an increase in online product service providers does many good things, it also brings up questions about the reliability and quality of these offerings. Consequently, new customers are easy prey for internet scammers. Our goal is to develop an AI system that can automatically analyze customer reviews of e-commerce products and provide a set of positive and negative comments made by previous customers in the Bangla language using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence algorithms. From different e-commerce websites, we collected 1016 Bangla product review comments for analysis. After completing preprocessing, we used two different domains of AI called Machine Learning(ML) and Deep Learning(DL) algorithms. There are five ML algorithms like KNN, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, SVM, and Gaussian Naïve Bayes used and for deep learning we used CNN and LSTM.

Design of a Solar-Biogas-Diesel Hybrid System for Sustainable Agro-Dairy Electrification in Rural Bangladesh
(Daffodil International University, 2025-09-29) Barua, Avishek Chowdhury; Riaz, Md Saifur Rahman; Islam, Rashedul
This study addresses the critical energy challenges faced by rural agro-dairy farms in Bangladesh, where unreliable grid access, high operational costs of diesel generators, and environmental degradation hinder productivity and sustainability. This study will provide an optimal off-grid hybrid energy system (HES) based on solar photovoltaic (PV), biogas generated by cattle waste and diesel back up to provide reliability, economic and eco-friendly energy supply. Through the HOMER Pro software, the design of the system emphasizes technical feasibility, economic feasibility, and carbon difference and is in accordance with the sustainability agenda in the world. The HES set up consists of the following 5.88 kW solar PV array, 3 kW biogas generator, 2-kW diesel backup, and battery to fulfill energy consumption demand of 30.3 kWh per day. The results of simulation show dominance of the renewable energy, where solar and biogas totaled 96.6 percent of the annual power generation, or 11,407 kWh, to leave the diesel at only 3.48 percent. The system also has 100 percent energy reliability where unqualified demand has been eliminated. Economically, it yields a competitive Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) of $0.177/kWh and a Net Present Cost (NPC) of $28,804, with a 15.4-year payback period. Environmentally, the HES reduces CO2 emissions by 35.8% (321 kg/year) compared to diesel-only systems, while biogas valorization mitigates methane emissions through efficient cattle waste management. This research establishes a scalable model for decentralized energy systems in agrarian economies, emphasizing policy interventions such as subsidized financing, regulatory reforms, and technical training to accelerate adoption. By harmonizing renewable energy integration with socio-economic development, the study advances sustainable agriculture, energy security, and climate resilience in off-grid communities.

Enforced Disappearance: A Critical Analysis from the Perspective of International Human Rights Law and the Constitution of Bangladesh
(East West University, 2023-01-18) Islam, Rashedul
The practice of enforced disappearance is not new. Globally, this phenomenon occurs. The Rome Statute is the only legally binding document applicable in all cases of enforced disappearances, but there is no universal document. Describes enforced disappearance and its multiple nature, and guides you through the process of drafting legally binding documents within the UN framework. It is well known that enforced disappearances are a complex issue. As a result of forced disappearance, several human rights are violated simultaneously, including the right to privacy and dignity, the right to not suffer torture or cruel, inhumane, or degrading treatment, the right to be detained in humane conditions, the right to legal representation the right to a fair trial and the right to a family life; and even the right to life when abducted. According to Amnesty International, enforced disappearance is a human rights violation when someone gets arrested, detained, or kidnapped by the government or agents, who deny they're being held or hide where they're from the government, taking them out of the legal protection system. The number of enforced disappearances in Bangladesh has been alarming according to reports from some national and international human rights organizations. There are a lot of unsolved cases and law enforcement agencies keep denying involvement. An international convention was adopted to eliminate the crime. It's also a crime against humanity under some other international conventions. In this dissertation, I analyze and scrutinize the socio-legal aspects of forced disappearance and suggest a way to overcome the situation. The paper will examine the legal status of enforced disappearances in a domestic and global perspective and draw a conclusion about how to stop it. Yet Bangladesh's criminal laws don't recognize forced disappearance as an offense, despite the fact that it's a thing. Even so, the right to life is a fundamental right guaranteed by the Bangladesh constitution, and it's being violated constantly. There's a huge impact on the victim's family and on the whole community. In order to prevent further consequences, Bangladesh needs to become a party to the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance immediately. Without it, forced disappearances will have massive consequences for the nation.

Face Detection Using Machine Learning Algorithms
(Daffodil International University, 2022-01-06) Islam, Rashedul; Siam, Md.
In recent years, face recognition has attracted much attention and its research has rapidly expanded by not only engineers but also neuroscientists since it has many potential applications in computer vision communication and automatic access control system. Especially, face detection is an important part of face recognition as the first step of automatic face recognition. However, face detection is not straightforward because it has lots of variations of image appearance, such as pose variation (front, non-front), occlusion, image orientation, illuminating condition and facial expression. Many novel methods have been proposed to resolve each variation listed above. Nevertheless, implementing the methods altogether is still a great challenge. Fortunately, the images used in this project have some degree of uniformity thus the detection algorithm can be simpler: first, all the faces are vertical and have a frontal view; second, they are under almost the same illuminate condition. There is some work done on this specific problem, but we propose an approach to detect face in realtime by machine learning which will fulfill the requirements. We have applied some machine learning algorithms to our collected dataset’s features and got promising results. And our model will help by detecting the face in real-time.

    Water Quality Monitoring System
(Daffodil International University, 2022-01-30) Islam, Rashedul; Nisat, Abu Abdullah; Rahman, MD. Atikur
Water is essential for life. Actually, that is not entirely true. Pure water is essential for life. On the contrary dirty and polluted water can take life. Water pollution is a major problem in our modern world. Polluted water can cause serious health problems. In our country the water pollution level is pretty high. In the water there can be a lot of hidden pollution that we can’t see with our bare eye. Also, the water pollution level throughout the day can change. Water contains different kinds of minerals like lead and iron. But everything has limit. If water contains too much iron and lead it can cause serious health problems. That's why we need to monitor the water we drink and use. So, we decided to make a system that can monitor water throughout the day. Our system can tell if the water is drinkable or not or how much mineral is in the water. Our system also can generate weekly and daily report of water quality.
