    A New Horizon of Data Communication through Quantum Entanglement

    By the blessing of our existing data communication system, we can communicate or share our information with each other in every nook and corner of the world within some few seconds but there are some limitations in our tra-ditional data communication system. Every day we are trying to overcome these limitations and improve our systems for better performance. Among them some problems may not be resolvable, for the reason of very basic or root dependen-cies of physics. In this paper, we have clarified some main drawbacks in our traditional communication system and provided a conceptual model to over-come these issues by using mystic Quantum Entanglement theorem rather than classical or modern physics phenomenon. In the end, we introduced a possible Quantum circuit diagram and Quantum network architecture for end-to-end data communication. It is predicted that through this hypothetical model data can be transmitted faster than light and it will be 100% real time between any distances without any kinds of traditional communication medium that are being used to date.

    An IoT Based Water-Logging Detection System: A Case Study of Dhaka

    With a large number of populations, many problems are rising rapidly in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. Water-logging is one of the major issues among them. Heavy rainfall, lack of awareness and poor maintenance causes bad sewerage system in the city. As a result, water is overflowed on the roads and sometimes it gets mixed with the drinking water. To overcome this problem, this paper realizes the potential of using Internet of Things to combat water-logging in drainage pipes which are used to move wastes as well as rainwater away from the city. The proposed system will continuously monitor real time water level, water flow and gas level inside the drainage pipe. Moreover, all the monitoring data will be stored in the central database for graphical representation and further analysis. In addition to that if any emergency arises in the drainage system, an alert will be sent directly to the nearest maintenance office.

    Automatic Electric Billing System using Digital Wattmeter and Powerline Carrier System

    The "Information Age" in electricity metering has arrived. Today's power measurement applications demand that energy meters be both intelligent and powerful to satisfy the challenges of a competitive marketplace. DIGITAL WATTMETER with a suitable LED display is such a potent device to accurately measure energy consumption and demand in the real world so to reduce system losses and consumer dissatisfaction. This paper describes an alternative infrastructure design of the electric meter reading system to eliminate the manual meter reading by remote monitoring of the power consumption and meter status using powerline carrier system and digital wattmeter. At a certain predefined time interval, the central system connected to each meter through powerline networking would collect the readings and automatically print the billing at the end of the month.

    CUSTODY: An IoT Based Patient Surveillance Device

    In this paper, the authors present an assistance device for patient’s surveillance. An IoT based system is developed for monitoring patient’s heart rate, body temperature and saline rate. An Arduino microcontroller is used here for processing the data and ESP32 module is used for monitoring the patient’s data through internet and a GSM module is used for notifying the doctors in emergency case. The main objective of this project is to help the doctors and nurses to monitor a patient’s health condition through internet and over cellular network. On the other hand, if the monitoring parameters exceed beyond their nominal values, the ready message is sent to the concerned duty doctor as well as the attendant and display it in the LCD screen and a specific audio sound is played for urgent awareness.

    A novel concept in the realm of conventional electricity grids, known as the “smart grid,” has emerged to explore the most effective methods for integrating green and renewable energy sources. By leveraging existing technologies for its communication network, the Smart Grid also inherits their associated drawbacks. Exploiting these vulnerabilities can lead to severe consequences such as privacy breaches, cascading failures, or even system-wide blackouts. Securing the Smart Grid is now paramount to ensuring its optimal performance. This document aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the Smart Grid. We begin by examining its inherent weaknesses, followed by a classification of common attacks and their potential impacts. Subse-quently, we delve into strategies for mitigating and detecting these attacks, utilizing appropriate algorithms. Lastly, we address current research challenges and propose future initiatives aimed at enhancing cybersecurity measures to safeguard smart grids from cyberattacks. Moreover, this review emphasizes the intricate relationship between technological vulnerabilities and cybersecurity challenges within the Smart Grid framework. It offers a nuanced perspective that highlights specific areas requiring heightened attention to establish an effective and robust defense against potential threats.
