Item De-noising of Biomedical Signals (ECG and EEG)(East West University, 8/28/2017) Chowdhury, Nowshin; Islam, FarihaAdaptive digital filter is actually an FIR or IIR filter where the coefficients of the filter are adjusted with the variation of input signal so that the difference between the noisy signal and the noise becomes minimum. In this project work we consider two biomedical signals ECG (electrocardiogram) and EEG (electroencephalogram) as the input signal of the adaptive filter provided they are contaminated by random noise. LMS (least mean square) algorithm is used to adjust the filter coefficients to de-noise both types of signal. The original signal, noisy signal, de-noised signal and error are shown graphically.Item EVALUATION OF FUNGICIDES AND FREQUENCY OF APPLICATION FOR BIPOLARIS LEAF BLIGHT MANAGEMENT OF WHEAT(HAJEE MOHAMMAD DANESH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, DINAJPUR-5200, BANGLADESH, 2023-12) Islam, Fariha; Hossain, Professor Dr. Sheikh Md. Mobarak; Hasan, Professor Dr. Md. MohidulA field experiment was conducted at the research field of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur, during cropping season 2022-2023 to evaluate the effect of selected fungicides and number of sprays for management of Bipolaris leaf blight of wheat caused by Bipolaris sorokiniana. Randomized complete block design with three replications was followed for the experiment. The variety BARI Gom 30 was used in the experiment. Seeds were sown 21 November, 2022. Three fungicides were sprayed as treatment named Tilt 250EC, Amister Top 325SC and Caprio Top at a prescribe dose in each plot for 1, 2 and 3 times to control the disease. Plant height & spike length was recorded as vegetative parameters. Data on percent disease leaf area and disease severity for flag leaves and penultimate leaves were also recorded at several DAS. After harvesting, the number of healthy grains per spike, the number of black pointed grains per spike, the number of undersized grains per spike, total number of grains per spike, thousand grain weight etc. was calculated. After analyzing the data, it was concluded that the three applications of Amister Top showed better result than other fungicides to control the leaf blight disease. It also gave better yield compared to those fields which were unsprayed. Again, the highest number of healthy grains and lower number of black pointed seeds were also found with this fungicidal application.Item Training and Development Practices of TSS Corporation(Daffodil International University, 2019-12-14) Islam, FarihaIt is quite tough to match up the practical knowledge where a person works with the theoretical knowledge that have gathered from the academy. In short, training is the short term process for improving employee’s different practical and technical skills. On the other hand development is a long term approach for building an improved workforce through continuous training. TSS has a structured procedure for training and development of its human resource.
