    A survey on Grid Solar Roof Top System in Bangladesh

    Solar rooftop system is the simplest way to reduce the waste of electricity and to keep the environment green. In this study and survey period, this was the initial basis to research whether the users of the system are taking it in a positive way or not. The study mainly focuses on the importance of the solar system, benefits and prospect. Solar energy has been the most favorable resource of renewable energy to improve the continuing unavailability of electricity. In this context, the composition of Solar Rooftop system related works is reviewed and later on, the methods and measures of the collected data from various fields of Narayanganj are described elaborately. About 20 solar rooftop systems formed in Fatullah, Woaparpul, Esha Kha Road, Chashara in Narayanganj area have been randomly surveyed. The entire study is mainly based on the data collected from these surveys. After the long process of collecting data and bringing them together, the survey has managed to find out some important outcomes. Initially, the primary aim of the study was to find out the Consumer information, operation details, in which purpose they use the system, and afterwards, they’re asked whether they are satisfied with the system or not. It is found that a majority of the people are completely dissatisfied with the system. After all, the effectiveness of the system was discussed in brief to influence them to come to know about the appropriateness of the system and the proper way to maintain the system. It is seen that a few among them find the system useful and want to increase its capacity. The operating condition and maintenance of the SRS was evaluated as well. Most of the interviewed people do not either maintain the system or want to repair it. It is very unfortunate that most of the systems were found inactive or not connected in a proper way. Although urban people are more likely to know the efficient use of solar energy, they still prefer fossil fuels for their power generation. In this manner, they are indirectly contributing to environmental hazards and wasting a lot of money too. From the reading of an installed solar system, the cost per unit is calculated later as an example. However, the appropriateness of the system to the consumer is very limited due to having a lack of knowledge and training to operate the system productively.

    A Web-Based Management System for Remote Workers Firora Workspace

    Since 2020 the world is seen a rapid shift to full-time remote workers and hybrid. Due to this shift lots of new and old tools as been reconstructed to meet the new demand. On the other hand, short-time freelancing work and independent freelancers are also increased dramatically. Thousands of individuals start their own freelancing businesses every day. Freelancers use a variety of paid and free products and services every day to advance and outperform their competition. A sizable proportion of independent contractors who operate in groups seek to launch their own businesses. One of the issues they frequently encountered when conducting business outside of the freelance sector. They get disorganized and wind up utilizing an excessive number of services, which causes a stressful working experience. So far so good I have come across building web-based systems. That follows a client-server architecture with a micro-service in nature. It uses VueJS in the frontend, Express js for REST-API, and Prisma for ORM. Additionally, during the development stage, the system's scalability is given top importance. Both a monolithic and a microservice architecture can be used to run the software. Docker has been used during the development and the package are released as Docker images. So that it may be utilized in the Kubernetes cluster environment. Building the actual system will require many features however, this prototype includes some basic features which will be a great starting point for the further development process. The purpose of my research and development is to find and build a system that can be used by the vast majority of individuals and businesses to conduct their business online securely and confidently.

    Comparison of phenolics, flavonoids and anthocyanin in pigmented and non-pigmented maize in bangladesh

    In the present study the compositions of phenolics, flavonoids and anthocyanins in a purple maize (SAU Bhutta 3) variety were determined and compared its phytonutrients with those of other maize varieties cultivated in Bangladesh. The SAU purple maize contained 106.0 ± 8.3 and 165.1 ± 8.0 mg /100 g of methanol soluble and acidic methanol soluble polyphenols, respectively. The SAU Bhutta 3 had the greatest amount of flavonoids (77.0 ± 10.0 mg /100 g) and anthocyanins (69.0 ± 5.0 C3G equv./100 g). Nevertheless, the SAU white maize variety had 31.0 ± 2.0, 47.0 ± 4.4 mg FAE/100 g and 9.0 ± 2.0 mg CE/100 g of free and bound phenolics and total flavonoids, respectively, which were lower than those of the SAU Bhutta 3. Again, the SAU red maize contained the lowest level of total anthocyanin (4.11 ± 1.2 mg C3G/100 g). The SAU Bhutta 3 exhibited higher proportions of insoluble phenolics compared to total phenolics and flavonoids compared to insoluble phenolics. Overall, the SAU Bhutta 3 contained relatively high amounts of phenolics, flavonoids and anthocyanins; thus, this particular maize variety shows significant potential for future utilization.     Doctor Appointment Booking System

    The main goal of this “Doctor Appointment Booking System” project is to make find the doctor appointment booking easy and comfortable for the right of the user from finding route appointment. In this project, we have two part, Admin and User. Any user will go to the Our Doctor Portal Website and they see the same route without registration and login. If user click the booking appointment route this system go to the login page. if the user before has registration they can login. Otherwise do the registration before. User login the " Doctor Appointment Booking System” then booking the doctor appointment from Appointment route and see the Dashboard route. Dashboard route has some route, they are My Appointment route and Review route. User click the My Appointment route they can see his total Appointment and click the Review route they add Review for a Doctor. Admin in this project “Doctor Appointment Booking System” will log in with the admin username and password, and admin see the Dashboard some route. There are Add Doctor, Manage Doctor, All User. Admin click the Add Doctor route and add the doctor, click Manage Doctor route and see all doctors and click All User route see all user those who are login the website. This application is created using the powerful Node.js, React.js, Express.js, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript and database system MongoDB. MongoDB Atlas server have used to display the web page, for data handling and strong. Finally, I hopeful that, the Doctor Portal will be succeed for my and Appointment Booking user.

    EFFECT OF MECHANICAL BENDING ON MOLYBDENUM DISULFIDE/CARBON NANOTUBE COMPOSITE THIN FILMS ON FLEXIBLE POLYMER SUBSTRATES FOR ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS

    The thesis focuses on preparing and characterizing MoS2/MWNT composite thin films on different polymer substrates and examining their electrical behavior upon external mechanical forces. The experimental process involved creating a composite by mixing MoS2 nanosheets with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNT). The MoS2 nanosheets were produced through liquid phase exfoliation of bulk MoS2 powder. The substrates used included Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). Each type of substrate was prepared by cutting polymer sheets to the required dimensions. The deposition process involved applying the MoS2/MWNT dispersion onto the substrates by drop casting method, followed by a heating procedure to evaporate the solvent and form polycrystalline thin films. For substrates used in conductivity tests, multiple drop-casting cycles were performed to enhance the deposition area. The choice of N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) as the solvent was crucial due to its efficiency in producing 2D materials, with careful temperature control during heating to prevent substrate damage. Structural analysis was conducted using X-ray Diffraction (XRD) to examine the crystallographic characteristics of the thin films. Topography and morphology studies were carried out using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) to understand the physical properties and surface features of the films. Electrical analysis was performed using a four-point probe to study the current-voltage characteristics of the thin films. A unique aspect of the research involved bending studies of the thin films using a specialized bending device. The films were subjected to controlled bending cycles to assess electrical performance under stress. The results provided valuable insights into the electrical properties of the MoS2/MWNT composite thin films on different polymer substrates, offering potential applications and understanding their behavior under mechanical bending conditions. Stable MoS2-MWNT thin layers were successfully deposited on various flexible substrates, with analyses confirmed well-defined crystalline structures showing significant substrate-dependent variations in surface features. Electrical performance evaluations indicated that PET substrates performed best under bending, suggesting their suitability for flexible electronics applications.

    Estrogen Signaling in Alzheimer’s Disease

    Estrogens play a crucial physiological function in the brain; however, debates exist concerning the role of estrogens in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Women during pre-, peri-, or menopause periods are more susceptible for developing AD, suggesting the connection of sex factors and a decreased estrogen signaling in AD pathogenesis. Yet, the underlying mechanism of estrogen-mediated neuroprotection is unclarified and is complicated by the existence of estrogen-related factors. Consequently, a deeper analysis of estrogen receptor (ER) expression and estrogen-metabolizing enzymes could interpret the importance of estrogen in age-linked cognitive alterations. Previous studies propose that hormone replacement therapy may attenuate AD onset in postmenopausal women, demonstrating that estrogen signaling is important for the development and progression of AD. For example, ERα exerts neuroprotection against AD by maintaining intracellular signaling cascades and study reported reduced expression of ERα in hippocampal neurons of AD patients. Similarly, reduced expression of ERβ in female AD patients has been associated with abnormal function in mitochondria and improved markers of oxidative stress. In this review, we discuss the critical interaction between estrogen signaling and AD. Moreover, we highlight the potential of targeting estrogen-related signaling for therapeutic intervention in AD.

    Hypoglycemic and Analgesic Activity of Ethanol Extract of Polyalthia Longifolia Leaves on Experimental Mice

    Diabetes is emerging new threats through different complications with time. Present study was designed to evaluate a hypoglycemic activity of Polyalthia longifolia leaves ethanol extract of along with analgesic activity. Oral glucose tolerance test showed significant result at dose 500mg/kg body weight of mice but not significant at dose 250mg/kg compare to control group where metformin was used as a reference standard. Analgesic activity of Polyalthia longifolia extract by acetic acid induced writhing method also showed mentionable effects that was 58% at dose 500mg/kg and 70% at 250mg/kg compare with standard diclofenac 78% writhing inhibition.

    Impact of safety and Health Measures on workers Productivity in the Readymade Garments Sector of Bangladesh

    This study aims to investigate the impact of safety and health measures on workers' productivity in the tradymade garments (RUG) sector in Bangladesh A quantitative research method was applied where 202 structured questionnaires were used to be filled up by the workers front 15 RUG factories offour selected areas of Bangladesh (Gaziput: Ashulia, Tongi, andUltara).The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS software (Version- 20) by adopting different statistical tools such as descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis. This study found that the overall condition of workers. afety is satisfactory; however irorkers'health hazard is the problem because of various diseases that affect the workers' health during their working life. The study results supported that there is a positive relationship between health and safety measures and workers' productivity Particularly, safety and machinery hav e a significant positive impact on the level of employee productivity The study concluded that workers' productivity has been gradually increased after the implementation of health and safety standards. Finally this paper will be useful for policy makers to mitigate the existing problems regarding health and safety issues in the RUG industry in Bangladesh.
