Item A Comparative Study of M10 and M15 Concrete's Strength Using Hand Mixing Method & Machine Mixing Method(Daffodil International University, 22-10-12) Hossain, Shazzad; Amin, Md.Ruhul; Hossain, SabbirThe concrete cylindrical compression test was used in our studies of compressive strength tests as a partial replacement for fine aggregate. M10 concrete mix has a cement, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate ratio of 1:3:6, whereas M15 has a cement, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate ratio of 1:2:4. Both Hand Mixing and Machine Mixing have been utilized in the production of concrete cylinders, and both M10 and M15 ratios have been achieved. When making concrete, it is common practice to mix the components by hand rather than using a mixer machine. Concrete mixing without a mixer is reserved for low-volume projects when both the quantity of concrete needed and the need of a consistent mix are minimal. Machine mixing refers to combining the concrete materials in a concrete mixer. We began by sieving fine aggregates (sand) and course aggregates (stone chips). The slam test was then performed by mixing M10 and M15 concrete by hand and machine. We ended up making 36 concrete cylinders in total. On the UTM machine, we tested the compressive strength of those concrete cylinders. Experiment were done to analyze the compressive strength of M10 and M15 concrete using hand mixing method and machine mixing method. Also, we compare compressive strength of M10 and M15 Concrete between hand mixing and machine mixing method. The Highest Compressive strength achieved by Hand Mixing method for M10 4.46 N/mm2 at 28 days. Study result reveals that highest Compressive strength achieved by Machine Mixing method for M10 9.29 N/mm2 at 28 days, the Highest Compressive strength achieved by Hand Mixing method for M15 4.46 N/mm2 at 28 days, the Highest Compressive strength achieved by Machine Mixing method for M15 9.55 N/mm2 at 28 days.Item A Time Efficient Multi-Node Clustering Approach in Recommendation System(East West University, 2019-12-24) Hossain, Sabbir; Ahmed, Faisal; Miah, AsifuzzamanIn the era of Information and communications technology where data is fueling the growth of organizations, where companies ingest raw data in massive volumes from from countless sources. But the question is how can they examine the data which both insightful, useful meaningful. This is where Big Data comes to play. Apache Spark is an open-source framework that is used process Big Data. Apache Spark is the leading platform for large- scale SQL, batch processing, stream processing , and machine learning. But one of the major drawbacks is that the time taken for processing traditional algorithms is much longer and it is also difficult to process large volume of data. Here Apache Spark multi-node clustering comes into big rescue. Which is a collection of independent machines connected through a dedicated network to work as a single centralized data processing resource. Collaborative Filtering is becoming so popular now a-days. To handle huge data sets traditional recommender systems often face challenges. In order to overcome some difficulties, some restrictions we have implemented distributed approach to do parallel computing so that we can deal with big datasets. We used Apache Spark Multi Node Clustering to do this. We have used several clustering algorithms find the similarity between users. Finally, we compare the overall permanence for a single machine vs multi-node clustering machines. In terms of scalability Apache Spark maintains great position. We consider improving scalability, Robustness of the system and evaluation Parameters. We also implemented Clustering algorithm using PySpark. Our project we are developing a full of life connection internet. Our application new donor regularly update information and administrator access to the data on blood application system. This application is developed in three aspects and that they are hospital, patient/donor and bank. Our application anyone can find their available donor and simply post. A user can connect with one another by email, massaging and calling system. Users of them is given their rating. Various times we did mention that folks rummage around for blood though there are such a large amount of blood apps but they are doing not fathom the apps. Rapier weaving machines are acknowledged for his or her reliability and overall performance. A completely extensive range of fabric may be woven on a rapier weaving device that's commonly from very mild fabrics with 20 g/m2 to heavy fabrics with round 850 g/m2. Rapier machines are extensively used for household textiles and industrial fabric. Designed for usual use, the rapier weaving system can weave now not only the conventional wool, cotton and guy made fibers, however additionally the most technically stressful filament yarns, finest silk and fancy yarns. When someone finishes their own life, we say that they passed by suicide. A suicide attempt denotes that someone tried to end their life, but did not die. It has been a crucial issue in current society. For this earlier detection and prevention of suicide attempts should be handled to protect people’s life. Today with the expansion of technology people tend to express their emotions on social media. A massive amount of people vents out their emotions online as they have no support system in actual life. It has been noticed or seen a lot of times those suicidal trends varying from mild to an extreme could be from a person's online profile activity. In this article, we put ourselves in a tough context, on the opinions that could be thinking of suicide. Particularly, we propose to address the shortage of terminological resources connected to suicide by a technique of assembling a vocabulary associated with suicide. After that, we proposed a specific method that includes all critical criteria which could be demonstrated by a suicidal person using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques. Our approach indicates efficiently an actual, mentally worried profile from a typical profile. Finally, we summarized to encourage future research. We also summarized the limitations of existing work and provide an outlook of further research approaches. This study provides an explanation as well as a solution by classifying the Reddit suicide and non-suicide opinion using various algorithm. Among these algorithms, Logistic Regression accuracy is the best accuracy that is 92.97%. The proposed model is made on Jupyter Notebook (a Python-based IDE) and trained on Kaggle's standard Suicide and depression dataset which has 2,33,338 records.Item Internship Report An Evaluation of Investment Performances of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC(Daffodil International University, 2025-11-17) Hossain, SabbirShahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIBL) is one of the prominent full-fledged Islamic banks in Bangladesh. This report focuses on the investment operations of SJIBL. The objectives of the study are to evaluate the bank’s investment structure, sectoral allocation, growth trends, financing modes, risk management practices, and overall performance during 2019-2023. In this analysis, an attempt has been made to show how SJIBL manages its investment activities effectively through its Shari’ah-compliant professional wisdom. The results of the study indicate that SJIBL's total investment has expanded over the period of five years, which reflects the strong demand for financing. Between 2019 and 2022, the growth of investments has been stable. However, in 2023, a moderation is observed that denotes careful lending regarding economic volatility, further developing the investment conditions. Even with this slowdown, the overall investment volume grew substantially compared to prior years, showcasing the bank’s flexibility and ability to accommodate a wide range of financing needs. Almost two-thirds or 67% of SJIBL’s total financing is invested in the corporate sector, which means SJIBL is highly concentrated on the corporate sector. The investment portfolio is made up of 29 % SME sector and 4 % retail segment. The bank focuses on large industries and business enterprises as these segments are considered to be stable and profitable. Alongside that, growing emphasis on SMEs stimulates the development of the national economy by promoting entrepreneurial activities, innovation, and employment generation. The bank has several Shariah–compliant investment modes, such as Murabaha, Bai-Muajjal, HPSM, Ijara, Bai-Salam, and Quard. Bai-Muajjal is the most popular mode of financing, having a share of more than fifty percent of the total investments of the bank. SJIBL offers this financial product to the nation’s trading community, Industrial Commercial Enterprises, small businesses, and individual clientele strictly within the Islamic Banking framework. The presence of flexibility, a sound ethical foundation, and assets to back them up inspires confidence in customers and promotes the development of relationships over an extended period of time. Risk management is a core priority for SJIBL. The bank uses a systematic Lending Risk Analysis LRA framework. It extensively uses the CIB report for analyzing the credibility and repayment capacity of the borrower. They can minimize credit risk and help improve investment quality. Even after all of that has been taken care of, a small percentage of the investments turn non-performing. There is a need for closely monitoring them with early-warning systems and effective recovery strategies. The stability of the bank and its protection against default risk will be enhanced continuously. The analysis also shows the necessity to make the investment portfolio more diverse. Putting more money into small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and consumer lending can diversify investment. Likewise, spending in digital forums, automated investment monitoring mechanisms, and customer enrolment strategies will add to working efficiency and customer satisfaction. To sum up, SJIBL’s investment operations are in accordance with the principles of growth, ethics, and economy. The bank strongly focused on enhancing the base of financing while being on the Shariah and emerging. If SJIBL diversifies its portfolio, improves technology and management expertise, it can enhance its top position in the upcoming time in the Islamic banking sector and contribute significantly to Bangladesh’s economic growth.Item Khulna divisional jail, Khulna(BRAC University, 2016) Hossain, Sabbir; Reza, Habib; Doja, Sajid BinThe crime rate of Bangladesh is increasing rapidly , so new jails are being made to address this massive loads on the prison cells. The central jail located in Dhaka Lalbag is relocated to Keranigonj due to the incapability of the existing infrastructure to carry the heavy pressure. Like Dhaka Central jail, a new divisional jail has been proposed in Dumuria of Khulna to disperse the pressure on the existing Khulna division jail as the capacity of it is very low . This Khulna jail will have the capacity to accommodate 2000 prisoner for now and later it will be extended to hold a maximum capacity of 4000 prisoner in total. This paper reflects on the whole process of how Khulna central jail can be designed on the proposed site addressing the program and required functional details. The process contains the details of how the project has been rationalized to its context , fixation of design objectives, program generation, case studies, zoning of site having a basic concept of retaining the topographic uniqueness, characteristics of the nature of surrounding areas and serenity of the proposed site. In many cases people think prison means a place where the criminals get punished because of their wrong doings and they are being isolated and separated from the society. This project aims to create a maximum security prison where the prisoners can improve themselves through various activities and when they go back to the society, they will be able to cope up with the society. The jail is envisioned more as a rehabilitation and correctional facilities rather than a punishing machine, that will help the guilty prisoners to remorse for their wrong deeds in isolation and will prepare them with skills and good morale when they go back to the society as a changed person.Item Predicting Chronic Kidney Disease of Diabetes Patients Using Ensemble Learning(6th International Conference on Communication and Electronics Systems (ICCES), IEEE, 2021-08-02) Faruque, Md. Chronic kidney disease has troubled almost 753 million people all over the world in 2016, wherein 417 million are females and 336 million are males. In the year 2015, it was the reason for 1.2 million deaths all over the world. When CKD is detected in the later stage of a diabetes patient, it is very harmful to them. Sometimes it leads them to death. But if it is possible to detect chronic kidney disease at an early stage of diabetes patients, the damage can be minimized. This research paper has shown a comparative analysis on the performance of some algorithms - Multilayer Perceptron, Bagging, and Adaboost. And this research work has also used some algorithms such as Bagging (J48), Bagging (Random Tree), Bagging (Decision Stump), Bagging (LMT), Adaboost (Random Tree), Adaboost (Decision Stump), Adaboost (J48), Adaboost (Random Forest). Our comparison of different algorithms will help people having diabetes to figure out whether they will have CKD or not in the future. From all these algorithms Bagging (Random Tree) and AdaBoost (Random Forest) have the best result. By comparing the results of all algorithms, the best algorithm can be detected for predicting the chronic kidney disease. This study can save many people's lives and money.
