An internship report on Uttarkhan Model Town project of Redeem Purbachal City Ltd : An evaluation

In Bangladesh, the real estate business started in 1964. Ispahani Group was the pioneer in this sector. During 1970s there were fewer than five companies in Bangladesh engaged in this business. But now this is a booming sector of the company. Redeem Purbachal City Ltd was started its journey in 2010. Redeem Purbachal City Ltd is A Real Estate Company. Redeem Purbachal City Ltd started a land development project. Redeem Purbachal City Ltd is our environmentally responsible response to the rapid spate of urbanization in Bangladesh. Pressures of urbanization in this country are compounded by the unfavorable land man ration.RPCLhas embarked upon a mission to make the maximum use of minimum land being sensitive to both environmental concerns and social continuity. Planned development by RPCLof the sites around the city has added value to those areas released pressure on inner cities and persecuted the city dwellers with breathing space. Redeem Purbachal City Ltd has currently 75 employees, including drivers & peons. I have worked as an internship at Redeem Purbachal City Ltd from 15th July. Purabachal Lotus Valley is the running project of RPCL. Purbachal Lotus Valley established by 2000 Bigha land. Purbachal Lotus Valley project already under the DAP (Dhaka-Detailed Area Plan).This project developing for a Satellite City. Redeem Purbachal City Ltd participates on REHAB housing fair two times in a year. In the fair we take a stole for selling the plots. They provide the brochures, maps, & other accessories so that the sales team can easily make their sales. Already 160 plots are sale in this during year. Now 550 plots are ready for sale. Finally Redeem Purbachal City Ltd has successfully established itself as one of the leading real estate developments in Bangladesh with reputation for a touch of class & dignity within the reach of all class of people. Within 3 years Redeem Purbachal City Ltd established a leading position in Real Estate sector on Bangladesh.
GMS Composite Knitting Industry Limited: a focus on knitting industrial operations

This report is based on my internship at GMS Composite Knitting Ind. Ltd., one of the leading knit garment manufacturers in Bangladesh. This company started its commercial production in 2000 and has since established itself as a reputed and competitive organization in the global apparel market. This company holds Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (Product Class I), WRAP for Social Compliance as well as ISO 9001:2015 certifications. As part of the PGD-KIM program, I completed my industry attachment where I had the opportunity to work in several core departments including Supply Chain, IE & Planning, Quality, Merchandising & Marketing, Production and Sustainability. During this internship period, I was exposed to the real working environment of a large-scale knit composite factory. I watched how they source yarn and materials, plan and run production lines, check quality at every step, handle buyer communications and apply sustainability practices to meet global standards. This report is organized into several chapters to present a clear overview of my learning experience. The first chapter introduces the company profile, including its background, products, organizational structure and operational capacity. The second chapter explains the complete industrial operational process and the functions of different departments where I worked. It describes how Supply Chain ensures timely material sourcing, how IE & Planning controls efficiency and capacity, how Quality team maintains standards, how Merchandising & Marketing communicates with buyers, how Production manages daily output and how Sustainability team ensures compliance and environmental responsibility. The third chapter provides an analytical review of my internship works at various departments. It also connects my academic learning from the PGD-KIM program with real factory practices. This chapter also presents the strengths, weaknesses and possible improvement suggestions for the company along with my personal reflections on skills development and self-improvement. The fourth chapter presents the conclusion of the report along with the list of references. Overall, this internship report shows one clear thing: good garment manufacturing needs strong teamwork between departments, always trying to improve, keeping quality high, and doing things responsibly. My internship at GMS Composite Knitting Ind. Ltd. helped me a lot. It built up my technical knowledge and also made me more confident. I got better at communicating, thinking like a professional and handling real work pressure. Now I feel 5 much more ready to start in the garment industry. I understand the daily operations better and know what challenges actually come up. This experience prepared me well for the next step.
IoT-Based Automatic Gas Leakage Detection and Fire Protection System

Gas Leakage and its fatal effects are a great concern throughout the world, especially in developing countries like Bangladesh. Every year lots of people died and countless damages to assets occur due to the fire caused by the gas leakage. Not only that but gas leakage and explosion are also very harmful to the climate. Thus, a system to detect gas leakage and preventive measures is of utmost importance. In this project, we design and implement an intelligent IoT prototype to detect gas leakage, and the fire caught by gas leakage. Our goal is to minimize the effect of gas leakage by taking some protective measures. When the gas sensor, detects the gas leakage, the solenoid valve shuts off the gas line, and the exhaust fan starts to run. Again, when the flame sensor detects a fire, the sucker throws the fire extinguisher balls at the fire. The GSM SIM module notifies the user by sending a message to his smartphone. The buzzer sounds when a mishap occurs and the LCD monitor always shows the status of the system. In this way, we have efficiently designed and implemented a low-cost and intelligent gas leak detection and fire suppression system.
