    A Convolutional Neural Network Approach to Recognize the Insect

    In Bangladesh huge amount of agricultural products are destroying by the pests every year due to lack of poor knowledge about pest detection. As we know that manually identification is difficult for a farmer. So, classic pest detection and identification can ensure excellent productivity. This would be a fulfil research in the technical area of computer vision. The dataset is typically random cropping of square size images together with grayscale color and brightness shifts are used here. Here Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) will be used to do the image recognition and the algorithm will provide an optimal architecture for image recognition. The big idea behind CNNs is that a local understanding of an image is good enough. The research contains the proportions of validation accuracy of 93.46%. This approach resulted in the agriculture sector that will help a farmer to recognize the insect from harvest. The computer vision and object recognition can be used with image processing to create an interactive and enlarge user experience of the real world. This research aims to demonstrate the possibility and test the performance of the project which only focuses on insect detection in crop plants that recognize the pest which can help a farmer to get immediate solution of harvest problem.

These are nationalized, semi-nationalized, private commercial, specialized Bank etc. Nowadays private commercial banks are very successful and they are playing significant role in the economic development of the country. Such a private commercial bank is PBL. Prime Bank Ltd has already made significant progress within a very short period of its existence. The bank has been graded as a top class bank in the country through internationally accepted CAMEL rating. The services of PBL include Corporate Banking, Retail Banking and Consumer Banking right from industry to agriculture, and real state to software. PBL have formulated the various Loan Schemes. Those are General Loan Scheme, Lease Finance, House Building / Apartment Loan Scheme, Small & Medium Enterprise (SME), Consumer Credit Scheme, Hire Purchase and Advance Against Share. General loan schemes are allowed to individual/firm/industries for a specific purpose but for a definite period and generally repayable by installments fall under this head. Lease financing is one of the most convenient long-term sources of acquiring capital machinery and equipment. Loans allowed to individual/enterprises for construction of house (residential or commercial) falls under House Building / Apartment Loan Scheme. Loans extended to Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) falls under SME Scheme. In order to provide financial assistance to the limited income group for raising their standard of living by acquiring domestic durables like freeze, TV, Computer, Motor Car, etc. Prime bank Ltd has introduced a Consumers Credit Scheme. To purchase capital machineries PBL has also formulated Hire Purchase Scheme. In order to contribute to the development of the Capital Market of the country Prime Bank Limited extends Advance Against Share loan scheme. PBL has extended TK. 12686.85 million as loans & advances. Loans and Advances are primarily divided into two major groups Fixed term loans and Continuous credit. Fixed term loan can be dividend as short term, medium term and long term. Continuous credits are short term. Loans can also be categorized in sectors.

Here I will be measuring the quality of the relationship between the retail customer of PMB and their sales representative. To measure the level and the quality of the relationship I will be using 12 variables. Using this research PMB will be able to make their relationship between their retail customers more strong and they will have a better idea of what their customers want and need, are they satisfied with how things are or not.

    Assortment of Dispatch Strategies with the Optimization of an Islanded Hybrid Microgrid

    In this work, the optimization of an off-grid micro-hybrid system is evaluated. This is conducted with the estimation of the proper sizing of each element and the steady-state voltage, frequency, and power responses of the microgrid. Kangaroo Island in South Australia is considered to be the test case location and the grid incorporates solar PV (photo-voltaic), diesel generator, battery storage, and wind turbine. Optimal sizing of the studied microgrid is carried out for four various power dispatch techniques: (i) cycle charging (CC), (ii) generator order (GO), (iii) load following (LF), and (iv) combined dispatch (CD). The proposed off-grid micro-hybrid is optimized for three performance indices; minimal Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), CO2 emission, and Net Present Cost (NPC). Using iHOGA (improved hybrid optimization by genetic algorithm), microgrid optimization software, all the above-mentioned dispatch strategies have been implemented and following this, MATLAB/Simulink platform has been used for the steady-state studies. The results show that the LF strategy is the utmost optimum dispatch technique in terms of the studied performance indices i.e. considering the optimal size and voltage and frequency responses. The results obtained from these studies provide a pathway for the estimation of the resource-generation-load combination for the islanded off-grid microgrid for its optimal operation with the various dispatch strategies.

In admin panel we get some information like courses information, teacher’s information, rooms information etc. We can Update, Delete & Add this information’s. There have teacher’s requirement for creating class routine and semester wise course offer distribution for teacher’s. We can update and view all this field in admin panel. After that we made a class routine using all of this field. In another panel is user panel. In this part we get all of information about course, teacher’s and rooms. In this panel we can see all this information & routine. There is no update, add and delete option in this panel. Both of this panel, we get routine separate by days, teacher’s and sections wise. There have day routine, section routine and teacher routine. We create this application for front-end using html5, css3, JavaScript and for back-end using php. We create this application for reduce the complexity of routine creation manually, to reduce time to solve a problem and to reduce routine version.

We discussed the variations among mobility communication eras in this essay. The wireless scientific community is already preparing for 5G's replacement as the utilization of mobile radio broadcasting picks up speed throughout the world. The requirements of more excellent information, low-latency, and hyper-reliability applications are being met by 5G. The key features of the 6G network, along with the social, economic, and technological components, are then covered in a systematic order.     Determinants of Stunting During the First 1,000 Days of Life in Bangladesh

    Stunting is a major problem in Bangladesh, with a prevalence of 31% in 2017. The prevalence of stunting in children aged under two has reduced by only 6% since 2004. After children reach 2 years of age, the consequences of stunting become almost irreversible. This paper seeks to examine and analyze the determinants associated with stunting during the first 1,000 days of life in Bangladesh to assist in developing evidence‐based interventions in Bangladesh. A literature review was conducted comprehensively on all relevant peer‐reviewed and gray literature of studies conducted in Bangladesh. The existing literature was searched and examined using the World Health Organization (WHO) conceptual framework for stunting. Evidence indicates that low maternal weight, lack of maternal education, severe food insecurity, lack of access to suitable nutrition, nonexclusive breastfeeding, pathogen‐specific diarrhea, and low weight and height at birth are associated with early childhood stunting in Bangladesh. The relation of the quality of drinking water with stunting is not clear in Bangladesh. Literature about the association between stunting and determinants such as the political economy, education systems, and agriculture and food systems is not found. This synthesis shows that the factors of stunting are multifaceted. As such, a multi‐sectoral approach is essential in Bangladesh, employing evidence‐based interventions to address the determinants that contribute to the risk of stunting to achieve the global nutrition target by 2025.

Bangladesh has become one of the densely populated countries in the world. Dhaka being the capital of Bangladesh is the densest city. But the living condition of Dhaka has become very worse. Everyday people face different types of problems such as water crisis, traffic jam, and accommodation problem soon. As there are a lot of job opportunities in Dhaka, rural people are coming to Dhaka city to have a job and to meet other needs. Most of the private universities are also located in Dhaka city. As a result, the accommodation of these huge people has become a burning problem. People are also facing a lot of problems while finding the exact accommodation place due to unavailability and the time consumption to find a suitable one. We believe our software/project will help everyone living in Dhaka city and we extend to furthermore cities to produce adds that a house is free to rent. A house rent management system can be a solution in this regard. Before implementing our idea, firstly we survey on local areas and figure out the differences in policies how each area homeowner has their own methods and handle the house rent process. We discuss our idea and the homeowners appreciated our idea and wanted to take advantages of this system. We also surfing on the internet about existing websites that supports this idea. Lots of website in foreign countries who are already providing this service in local civilians. To implement our idea needs to maximum efforts and dedication from our team- and we believed to put the effort needed.

Financial analysis is the process of evaluate the financial health of an organization by using different mathematical and logical tools. Financial analysis also represents the overall financial performance of an institution. It is helpful for evaluate the financial condition of the organization and making decision for business operation. I use ratio analysis as the main tools for performing the financial analysis for my report. The ratio analysis gives the summarized overview to the investor. So the investor tries to concentrate on different financial ratios to get an overall overview of the organization. The ratios analysis not only help to decision making process but also emphasized on risk avoiding and profit raising related factors. To calculate this ratio, I need to collect quantitative data from authentic source such as bank trading activity and other sources. The main objectives of report are to find out Financial Statement Analysis of Dan Foods Limited. The report is divided into six chapters.     The aquaculture industry in Bangladesh plays a vital role in meeting the nutritional needs of its growing population, with fish being a culturally significant and economically crucial commodity. As Bangladesh emerges as a key player in the aquaculture sector, ensuring the safety and quality of aquatic products becomes paramount, especially in the context of international concerns regarding shrimp quality. This research paper delves into the intricate web of traceability and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) systems in Bangladesh's aquatic animal industry. With a focus on Cox's Bazar, a prominent fish-producing district, the study explores current practices, challenges, and opportunities in implementing traceability and HACCP. The results highlight a positive trend in regulatory compliance, training, and the possession of governmental licenses. However, the study reveals areas for improvement, particularly in traceability practices and ethical concerns related to labour. The HACCP system analysis underscores commendable adoption of preventive measures, though challenges persist in chemical use and frequency of testing. Notably, the high adoption of footbaths as a Critical Control Point (CCP) indicates a collective acknowledgment of disease transmission risks. The research emphasizes the importance of active monitoring, documentation of customer complaints, and addressing gaps in critical control points for the industry's stakeholders. As Bangladesh navigates global trade complexities and strives for environmental sustainability, a thorough understanding of traceability and HACCP systems is essential. This study contributes valuable insights for informed decision-making, fostering economic growth, and ensuring public health within the burgeoning aquaculture sector of Bangladesh.

    Implementing open source cloud platform as an enterprise solution and develop a tool to manage the entire ecosystem

    The fundamental idea behind my thesis work is to use open source technologies and build a fully workable enterprise solution. Another part was to develop a management tool for the entire ecosystem , which can be deployed on web servers for the admins and users to use. In the very beginning I researched on different open source cloud platforms. Tried deploying them in small scale. I also looked into some professional cloud service providers, like Amazon AWS and Rackspace Cloud . I found Amazon is the pioneer among the cloud providers who are serving infrastructure as a service and Rackspace Cloud in the second position on the number of cloud users basis . So, there most complete open source solution with Amazon AWS cloud is Eucalyptus cloud ecosystem . I used Eucalyptus to deploy the cloud infrastructure. To make deploying cloud infrastructure easier on small scale I also wrote a script , which will setup a Eucalyptus cloud infrastructure with just few commands. Another part of my thesis was to develop a cloud management tool. I developed a new tool using a very popular open source python library Boto that is used to manage Amazon EC2 and S3 services. This report contains all the steps taken to deploy the cloud platform, challenges and the steps taken to resolve issues and also discuss about the cloud management tool.

    Janata Bank Limited (JBL) is the second largest commercial bank of Bangladesh for its net asset or value and it has 901 branches. The mission of Janata Bank Limited is that it want to be an effective commercial bank by achieving a stable and constant growth strategy, offering high valued financial products, delivering excellent customer service. The United Bank Limited and Union Bank Limited were nationalized after the liberation war and re-launched as Janata Bank. This report is prepared mainly on the basis of my three and half month practical work at Janata Bank Limited, Faridpur corporate branch. This internship period helps me a lot to know more about the practical scenario and the environment of a financial institution. Loans or credits is comprised as the most important asset and also the primary source of earning for the banking institutions. On the other hand, loan/credit is also considered as the major source of risk for the bank management. The management of bank always tries to make an appropriate balance between its return and risk involved with the loan portfolio. From this report, I have learned about how Janata Bank distributes loan to its client and how they recover it. I have also learned about their credit policy system which is applying for disbursement and recovery of distributed loan. The data is used to furnish this report have been collected from both the primary sources and secondary sources. Among primary and secondary sources, I took most of the information from the secondary sources. Some information or data is used based on secondary data collected from different website, official website of Janata Bank, JBL manual, Desk report sheet of the related section or department and training sheets also.

    Mobile Application Development on "Launchghori - A Mobile Based Application for Passenger-Launch Timing

    The project “Launchghori – A Mobile Based Application for Passenger-Launch Timing” is a mobile application. This application is for Android Platform. This application is intended for gather all scheduling and details information of Launch Transport in Bangladesh. This application is written by Java Programming Language and XML with Android Studio IDE. To develop this project, the most essential part is generating a code in Java language and simulate it successfully. I observe that people can not remember which launch are departing from Sadarghat to their desired location. Also which launch are heading to Sadarghat from their location. So, I think of an idea that if I can gather all information about Launch’s and develop a system so that everyone can easy find their desired information about Launch’s. That’s why I want to build a simple system which is mobile based application in Android platform. After implementation of all functions, the system is tested in different version of Android OS and different types of Mobile phones. And it works successfully as a mobile application for Android based smartphone. It can run also both in Offline and Online.

    Numerical study of magnetohydrodynamic mixed convection in a partially heated rectangular enclosure with elliptic block

    Magnetohydrodynamic mixed convection fluid flow and heat transfer in a partially heated rectangular enclosure with elliptic block has been investigated numerically in this study. The left wall of the enclosure has been supposed to high temperature, Th whereas the right wall has been maintained at low temperature, Tc while the remaining walls have been kept adiabatic. The top adiabatic wall has been kept lid-driven with constant velocity parallel to the positive x-direction. A uniform magnetic field of strength, B0 is applied parallel to the x-axis. The Physical problem has been presented mathematically by different sets of governing differential equations (such as mass, momentum and energy equations) along with the corresponding initial and boundary conditions. By using appropriate transformations, the governing equations along with the boundary conditions have been transformed into non-dimensional form, which have been then solved by employing a finite-element scheme based on the Galerkin method of weighted residuals. Numerical results have been obtained for a wide range of dimensionless parameters such as Richardson number, Hartmann number, Prandtl number, Reynolds number and the physical parameter namely area of elliptical block. Also, these results have been presented graphically in the form of streamlines, isothermal contours, and average Nusselt number along the heated section of the vertical left wall at the three values of Richardson number (Ri), varying from 0.1 to 10. This range of Ri have been selected on the basis of calculation covering pure forced convection, pure mixed convection and free convection dominated regimes. In mixed convection dominated region, the heat transfer decreases 4.74, 16.58, and 44.16% with increasing Hartmann number from Ha = 0 to 10, 20, and 50, respectively. On the other hand, the heat transfer increases 51.34, 89.52, and 118.82% with increasing Reynolds number from Re = 50 to 100, 150, and 200, respectively.

    PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF NDTS IN PREDICTING COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE

    Accurate prediction of concrete compressive strength is imperative for investigating the in-situ concrete quality. To avoid destructive testing, developing reliable predictive models for concrete compressive strength using nondestructive tests (NDTs) is an active area of research. However, many of the developed models are dependent on calibration and/or concrete past history (e.g. mixture proportion, curing history, concrete mechanical properties, etc.), which limits their utility for in-situ predictions. The main objective of the study to establish a relationship between NDT test results with the compressive strength of the structures. This study developed predictive models for concrete compressive strength. In this study, concrete cylinders were casted with strength varied from 15 to 60 MPa. Ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) and rebound hammer (RH) tests were performed on 90 concrete cylindrical samples and 90 concrete core cylindrical samples. After that, compressive strengths were determined using destructive testing on 90 cylinders and 90 core cylinders. The rebound number at 7 days shows the concrete quality varied from fair to good for C15 to C60 grade of Concrete for both cylinder and core cylinder. For similar grade of concretes, the rebound number at 28 and 90 days shows the concrete quality varied from good to excellent. The UPV test results show that the concrete quality varied from very good to excellent for both cylinder and core cylinder. It is found that the strength obtained from rebound hammer and core cutting is well comparable with cylinder crushing strength. RH strength is found lower than the cylinder compressive strength for all grade of concrete by an amount of about 3% to 8%. Whereas, core strength is found lower than the cylinder compressive strength by an amount of about 8% to 11% for all grade of concrete. Finally, predictive equations were developed at 7, 28 and 90 days age of concrete cylinder and concrete core based on NDT results.

    Person and Gender Identification from Handwriting Using Machine Learning

    Identification of an individual and gender from handwritten documents presents an intriguing research problem for researchers, as there has been relatively little research in this area. This research aims to examine a machine learning classification algorithm for recognizing the attributes and handwritten characters of various authors. The study proposes a scheme for user authentication that is based on data from pen tablets and handwriting. This research employed two techniques to ascertain the author's identity and to recognize handwritten characters. According to the study's analysis of experimental findings, the accuracy levels for SVM, LR, LDA, and RF are 87% 85%, 73%, and 77%, respectively. Both SVM and LR have an accuracy level greater than 80%.
