Much work has been done to ascertain the impact of the various types of appeals (rational, fear, and guilt), and degree of customer involvement on consumer responses to various messages. This research represents a robust study conducted on the impact of messages pertaining to a greener environment on the population of Dhaka City. A structured questionnaire was sent out to 400 respondents within the periphery of Dhaka City. It has been observed that the dependent variable, consumer attitude towards green messages is related to the different appeals of the messages that they are exposed. SOOand 7S0 mg/kg body weight respccnvely for' weeks. On day O. 7. 14 and 21 blood samples were collected and blood glucose level was determined using diabetic kit. The blood glucose level was reduced from 117.5 ± 10.61096.1 ::: 2.4. 18.3.5::: 9.410 101.3 ± 2.5 and 178.6 ± 7.71091.1 .t 1.4 and the average body weight were increased from 257.6 ± 6.3 to 288.1 ± 2.5. 254.3 ± 10.7 to 282.5 ± 8.8 and 257.5 ± 9.0 to 286.8 ± 7.3 in group C. D. E. respectively after J weeks of treatment. Moreover. blood cholesterol level was reduced from 177.5 ± 10.6 to 96.1 ± 2.4. 183.S ± 9.4 to 101.3 ± 2.S and 17f!.o ± 7.7 to 91.1 ± 1.4 in group C. D. E. respectively after 3 weeks of treatment. Variations of coronavirus make it tough to recognize COVID-19 positive patients through symptoms. Hence, this research aims at a faster and automatic detection approach of COVID-19 disease from the chest Computed tomography (CT) scan images. For the composition of the system, this approach constructs a feature vector from the CT images through the features fusion of two Convolutional neural network (CNN) models namely VGG-19 and ResNet-50. Before the feature fusion, preprocessing techniques are applied to gain more accurate outcomes. Moreover, pertinent features are identified from the feature vector by using several feature optimization methods namely Recursive feature elimination (RFE), Principal component analysis (PCA), and Linear discriminant analysis (LDA), and among them, we have observed PCA as the best preference. Classification is performed on the optimized feature utilizing the Max voting ensemble classification (MVEC). The fused features of VGG-19 and ResNet-50, processed with PCA and MVEC, provide the best outcomes of accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, and precision at 98.51 %, 97.58 %, 99.49 %, and 97.47 %, respectively, after 5-fold cross-validation for the proposed method.Item EPIDEMIOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION OF GASTROINTESTINAL PARASITES OF LIVESTOCK POPULATION AT MIRZAPUR UPAZILA IN TANGAIL BANGLADESH(Sher-e-Bangia Agricultural University Research System (SAURES), 2021-07) Nazmunnahar, N.; Hossain, M.M.; Islam, M. R.The objective of this study was to investigate the nutritional statu, of livestock and correlate it with the prevalence of gastroirucstinal parasites (GP) at Mirzapurupnzila in Tangail district. A total 150 questionnaires were prepared to assess the nutritional status of livestock in this study. Total 170 beef caulc. 63 dairy cow. II Goal/sheep and 23 chicken history and fecal samples were collected and evaluated, About 160'0 animals were reared in traditional rearing system and 24,}. animals were reared in intensive rearing system. Among the population 12% caule, 10% dairy cow. 8% goat/sheep and 6% chicken where found diseased condition. Only 18% cattle. 22% dairy cow. 14% goat/sheep & 10% chicken were vaccinated. 50% cattle. 50% dairy cow. 14% goat/sheep were de-wormed routinely. Dairy cow was supplied the highest amount of green grass (9.7 kg/day), Only 76% fanners followed the method of processing nee straw to feed their animals. Overall prevalence of GP infestation was 76%. Prevalence of Paramphistomum spp. infestation was found to be the highest (24%) followed by Fasciola spp, 16%. Trichostrongylus spp. 4~o. Eimeria spp. I 4%. Isospora spp. R%. Trichuris spp. 4·'0. Strongyloides spp, 6° o. The findings of this study provide an epidemiological forecast showing the prevalence of gastrointestinal parasites in cattle. which can be helpful for the clinician in the diagnosis of such infections. The study revealed that nutritional status. health conditions and gastrointestinal parasites result variations in the productivity of animals.Item Multilayer MXene Heterostructures and Nanohybrids for Multifunctional Applications: A Review(American Chemical Society, 2022-05-22) Mahmud, S.T.; Hasan, M.M.; Bain, S.; Rahman, S.T.; Rhaman, M.; Hossain, M.M.; Ordu, M.MXenes (transition metal carbides and nitrides) have experienced exponential growth over the last two decades, thanks to their excellent physical, chemical, and mechanical properties. Intriguing properties like high conductivity, wear, and corrosion resistance while maintaining flexibility are the strong motivation behind the exploration of MXenes. Moreover, the large surface area and unique layered structure enhance the functionality of multilayer-MXene heterostructures and hybrids. This paper reviews the synthesis chemistry, structure properties of multilayer MXenes, and their multifunctional applications. MXene synthesis under different conditions, their hybrids and composites, intercalation, and structural geometries are discussed. The electrical, mechanical, optical, and magnetic properties of MXenes are briefly presented. Recent progress and development in MXene-based heterostructures and nanohybrids for supercapacitors, batteries, environmental and water treatment, antibacterial and tissue engineering, and electromagnetic absorption and shielding are systematically discussed. Electronic devices derived from bioresources spurred augmented benefits typically in terms of sustainability, biocompatibility, biointegration, and their device utilization in copious electronic fields such as biomedical healthcare, sensing, energy, intelligent clothing, and so forth. Significantly, the natural biopolymer silk has extensively been explored to design wearable electronic devices because of its excellent attributes and active functional sites present in their structures. Consequently, silk is being integrated with various carbon-based fillers, metallic interfaces, conducting polymers, etc. This review provides a comprehensive overview of silk integrated nanomaterial structures for wearable and bioelectronics applications. The outstanding structural features of silk materials have been discussed, summarizing their intrinsic properties and performance matrices for integration with various nanomaterials. Several silk/nanomaterial-enabled bioelectronics applications are presented, and in the end, future opportunities are also envisioned.Item The efficacy of rare-earth doped V2O5 photocatalyst for removal of pollutants from industrial wastewater(Scopus, 2024-01) Kabir, M.H.; Hossain, M.Z.; Jalil, M.A.; Ghosh, S.; Hossain, M.M.; Ali, M.A.; Khandaker, M.U.; Jana, D.; Rahman, M.M.; Hossain, M.K.; Chowdhury, J.; Kazi, MohsinPhotocatalysis is regarded as one of the most environmentally benign methods of mitigating the effects of textile wastewater. Despite the fact that various semiconducting metal oxides are used in photocatalysis, their performance is still insufficient. In this study, the hydrothermal method was used to synthesize rare-earth (RE) elements [Holmium (Ho) and Ytterbium (Yb)] doped vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) to improve its photocatalytic efficiency. The effect of RE ions on the photocatalytic efficiency of doped V2O5 has also been analyzed from both the experimental and first-principle density functional theory (DFT) methods. The stable orthorhombic crystal structure of doped V2O5 is confirmed by the X-ray diffraction with no secondary phase, and high-stressed conditions are generated for the 3 mol.%. The crystallite size, strain, and dislocation density are calculated to perceive the doping effect on the bare V2O5. The optical characteristics have been measured using UV–vis spectroscopy. The absorptions are found to be increased with increasing doping concentrations; however, the bandgap remains in the visible range. The photocatalytic properties are examined for the bare compound with varying pH, with the highest efficiency exhibited for pH 7. Moreover, it is observed that the RE ions significantly impact the catalytic behavior of V2O5. The degradation efficiency is improved by 93 % and 95 % for the 3 mol.% of Ho and Yb-doped V2O5 samples within 2 h, respectively, and the mechanism behind these extraordinary efficiencies has been explained thoroughly.
