Item A Deep Learning Approach for Traffic Sign Detection and Recognition Using Improved YOLOV5s(Daffodil International University, 23-01-29) Hossain, MD. Ariful; Hossain, AnwarTraffic sign detection is one of the most challenging tasks for autonomous vehicles, especially for the detection of different types of signs and real-time applications. Unmanned driving systems face a lot of problems to recognize traffic signs faster and more accurately. In this paper, we propose a model using improved YOLOv5 to detect Traffic signs and recognize them properly. Our dataset consists of 3500 pictures of the traffic sign and we have annotated all that pictures in YOLOv5 format. There is 39 classification of our dataset on all pictures based on the traffic sign. This system can be used for unmanned driving vehicles. Using this model a device can make which will help drivers who are driving a car. After the implementation of our dataset with the help of improved YOLOv5, the output shows an accuracy of 86.75% in different conditions such as low light, cloudy, rainy, and sunny.Item A monoclonal antibody to Shigella dysenteriae serotype 13 cross-reacting with Shiga toxin(1993-03) Qadri, Firduasi; Azim, Tasnim; Hossain, Anwar; Islam, Dilara; Mondol, Gabriel; Faruque, Shah Mohammad; Albert, Manuel JohnItem A prospective, randomized, double -blind, placebo-controlled, trial to determine the safety and efficasy of influenza virus vaccine, trivalent, types A & B, live cold-adapted (CAIV-T) inhealty children(2000-07-19) Baqui, Abdullah H.; Hasan, Zahid; Siddique, A.K.; Zaman, K.; Arifeen, Shams EI; Hossain, Anwar; Breiman, R.; Rahman, K. There are many shops and Companies in Bangladesh. But they don’t buy and sell their product at the right time. Because of this, both of them suffer many losses. Every shopkeeper and company want to save their valuable time. Shopkeepers don’t want to waste their valuable time waiting for the delivery man to buying products for his shop. A Company wants Shopkeepers to know their products very quickly. smart field service is an app through which, companies can easily deliver their products through deliveryman quality and Shopkeeper can easily contact the company through these apps if a product has problems or dates over. shopkeepers can provide the product to the customer as per their demands. shopkeeper always wants everything easily. Smart Field Service is an app through which Companies and Shopkeepers solve their problems. The main purpose of this project is to save valuable time. This project presents an application named “Smart Field Service”. In this app, only shopkeepers and companies can create an account of their desired character for the purpose consumption of time and buying and selling their products.Item Socio-Economic Background and Performance of the Students of a Privateuniversity: A Case Study(Daffodil International University, 2016-12) Zeheen, Annesha; Hossain, AnwarAbstract: The study seeks to consider socio-economic background of the students enrolled at PU with a view to assessing individual performances and improvements. The assessment covers comparative achievements of different school of PU namely Business, Engineering and Liberal Arts and Social Science. Since performances of the students depend on the University curricula and quality of the faculties and also on parent/ guardian’s income level, gender, religion, accommodation arrangement, past academic background and socio-economic and cultural status, the paper tries to statistically evaluate comparative importance of factors behind their performances. The analysis attempted to collect data through population survey (SIMS), but had to rely on random sample survey as required data were not available in SIMS, and regressions were run to evaluate comparative importance of the factors. The results showed that parents’ income and father’s education level have influence on academic performance of a student. Past academic track records of the students plays an important role in University achievements. Business School seems to be performing better than other schools. Further, the results recommend choice of career preferences of the students, opportunities and alternative options for better job opportunities. As most students were found to prefer job and Business students like it in banks/financial institutions and Engineering students in construction and telecommunications industries, the University may be recommended to take appropriate policy package.Item Stabilization of Soil By Sand(Daffodil International University, 2020-01-08) Kabir, Mishkatul; Hasan, Mahmudul; Hossain, Anwar; Rana, S. The rights of indigenous people have assumed a significant place in the international human rights law. In recent years the issues concerning indigenous peoples have not only been received the national and global attention, but have attained the status of customary international law and thus legally binding upon all States. However, it is seems that more than 450 million indigenous people are living in the world in more than ninety countries. This being the reality, there has also been a system of slow disappearance of these local peoples over the last half century. But they still markedly constitute populations of many states. The indigenous peoples are usually found in disadvantageous positions compared to a national mainstream population. Probably a normal rule is that, they are deprived economically, financially and socially, denied their rights to education, equal treatment, land ownership and many other activities that the general people are engaged.
